Not very useful for this beginner
As a complete keyboard/piano novice, but one who wants to learn how to play, I didn't get an awful lot from this guide book. What have I learned?Finger placement - it starts off introducing you to the individual keys and the fingers that should be used to play each one. This starts with right-hand placement and then moves onto left-hand placement.Key identification - I can now figure out which key is which as I know that the C key is to the left of the two black keys. And that's about it, which for near £15 isn't much, and isn't something I could've found on the internet with a couple of minutes of searching,As you progress the guide throws other concepts at you, musical symbols etc. but no real explanation as to what they are. As it's visual rather than an audible guide it's hard to really understand, or appreciate what you're actually being shown.Internally everything is printed clearly though oddly, unlike the guide book with the card helper, it is entirely in B&W and doesn't have any engaging splashes of colour. There is also a series of stickers that can be easily affixed to the keys to identify each key/note. Thankfully there is also a guide to help you identify 'Middle-C' on 49, 61, 76, and 88 key keyboards. This guide is something that I may come back to in the future, but for lessons - in the absence of an actual teacher - I'll probably look for online videos.

GREAT FOR LEARNERS
I have played the piano for 25 years + and used a lot of resources from grade books, YouTube tutorials, sheet music, and others like apps. This is great for starters, Stickers are included to put on all the keys although this gets to be a bad idea later on. We should after a while be taking them off so that our brains hold onto this connection rather than looking for the stickers and attaching to where the note is on the page. This is for complete beginners although there are not enough tips (that i would give) in the book such as make sure that all you do is slow and correct and do not be so concerned with speed. It is better to do something correctly and slowly than wrong at any speed.Whilst this book is for any age, this should be introduced to children you want to learn as early as 4 years old.

Found the stickers useful
Well constructed book made to a good quality standard. Inside you'll find 48 pages with 28 exercise that gets more difficult as you progress. At the end it has 6 songs to practice. The stickers are a good idea and place very well on the keys, speeds up the learning processThe book states its for beginners, but my 10 year old found it difficult to understand. It seems in order to follow the book you must already have some basic knowledge. We ended up downloading a random piano guide app to help her understand the book. She can now follow the exercises and enjoys practicing the various techniques.Great book for people with basic understanding and need to practice more, but for someone with no knowledge will find it difficult to follow.

Good material, but not foundation learning, a slight progession above absolute beginner
Print quality and illustrations and supporting material is a good quality. The book fits nicely on the music stand of my daughter's instrument. The print of a decent size and easy to read and this contains appropriate staged guidance on playing your instrument. It's not absolutely foundational I don't think that if you were an absolute beginner (with no other material to guide you) and I mean that you completely had no experience, that you could use this as a starting point. As a progression from really basic understanding on to something a bit more than really basic then yes this is fine

Brilliant way to learn.
I got this for my son and daughter to learn as their older sister likes to play, this has been helping them so much thanks to having the keyboard stickers which don't just have the letter's on they also have the note on helping them learn how to read music. The sticker's are nice and thin so do not get in the way, so far my children have found this very useful and are enjoying learning so I would recommend.
