SAROSORA 4 inch Self Watering Planter Modern Decorative Pot for Potting Smaller House Plants Herbs Succulents Set of 3 (3, White)

I just moved house and the kitchen in the new place has a small window sill that received great daylight in the morning. I thought it would be a perfect location to grow some fresh herbs. Unfortunately, I am terrible about remembering to water my plants (yes, even if they are right next to a sink). Originally I was looking for ceramic pots because they tend to look more substantial. However, I saw these and I couldn't pass up the price and self watering feature. When I received them I was initially worried because the plastic was a bit thinner than I expected and when I put the only shell (outer white portion, not the inner black pot) on the sill light came through and made it look yellow. However, once I put the black liner in, and put a plant in it it looked very solid. I do not know if it will yellow in the sun over time, but for now it looks exactly as I had hoped. It is true to size and fits on my sill perfectly. The inner and outer shell also fit together very well. I don't yet know how well the self watering feature will work but I'm not too worried because they look so good.

Absolutely perfect for the herbs that you can buy from the supermarket in a little pot- I have basil, chives and parsley that I just removed the flimsy plastic plant pot from the compost and decanted straight into my Sarosara pots and with a quick water every few days they have lasted for months on my kitchen window sill.

This was ideal for some herbs to grow in the kitchen. I've always found herbs die quickly that I've bought from the supermarkets. Early days but so far all looking healthy.
