About as good as secondhand smoke
This isn't an actual Cat8 cable. It has "CAT8 40GB" printed on the side but that can't be right because I get a maximum of 100mbps with this. I easily get 500mbps of bandwidth from a 5e cable I pulled from an ancient rat's nest of loose cables I rediscovered under my bad after I had to go looking for my waifu body pillow when she fell off the far side of the bed. Anyway, the "Cat8" cable itself is as floppy as Kevin Spacey judging a wet t-shirt contest after a fifth of whiskey, speaking to the level of shielding contained therein. Calling the shielding nominal would be gracious. It's so loose and flimsy you could probably tie a 6 foot cord in... well probably as many knots as you neededWith utmost respect to my assuredly kind, God-fearing, hardworking folks posting other reviews, you'll notice qualities mentioned therein including physical attributes (length, functionality of the terminals etc) and very little mention of experience with alternatives. I'm here to tell you that this cable, while it WILL connect one ethernet device to another, will not deliver performance on par with a regular Cat5e cable, and heaven help you if you're expecting to exceed Cat6a levels of performance because there's a surprise in store for you bigger than that time my dog stole one of my broccoli cheese hot pockets. I don't wanna talk about it.I'd implore you to RUN (don't walk) to a competing Cat6a cable. 6a has been commodified at this point due to its ubiquity in IT/IS infrastructure. It is very hard to find BAD 6a cable but very EASY to find "Cat7" and "Cat8" cables that perform even worse than the minimum standard for a 6a cable and serve as nothing more than a liability for the day you come home to find your both your dog and your waifu body pillow left on a bus to elope in Las Vegas and you're left alone in a house of lies with nothing but a ceiling fan, a 6 foot "Cat8" cord, and the grisly task set before youAll jokes aside (my dog knows better than to eat MY hot pockets heh heh heh!) the cable sucks. F'realsies

Wonderful
Headline is ode to manufacturer. I bought product for secure internet connection at home especially when making purchases and or financial transactions.Cable companies usually provide a short wire ,so the 10 feet is extremely convenient.I like that the terminals come with covers. The terminals click into ports wonderfully. The download and upload speed was greater 300mbps
