It reminds me of the Aimpoint Comp M4 I used in the military. I wanted something like that, extremely durable, military grade, long battery life (with AA battery!) and extremely simple with no auto on/off to deal with (or possibly fail). At about 1/3 the price of the CompM4 it can't be beat. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and highly recommend it! Maybe in the future I'll try one of DI Optics smaller products but this is exactly what I hoped it would be. Review: Sight wiggles on BCM upper. - I loved this optic. Have had it for a good 8 months. Battery life is incredible, replace factory battery with a Duracell and it’s still on. My problem is after a while the red dot will wiggle on my upper. I have a BCM upper, have it fully mounted on properly and it wiggles. Not happy. Thought this would be a great combat optic, but the fact is it doesn’t hold up. Maybe I got a lemon, going to be contacting the company for a replacement .
