I've been riding with Thomson stems for over twenty years. Aside from being almost a work of art, they are strong, light, and I've never had one fail. Got the 10 degree 70mm to replace a 0 / 40mm. Like the extra room in the cockpit and slightly taller bar height.

I have been using Thomson stems for a long time. They are great unless you are a hardcore weight weenie.I had to give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it came with silver screws. The picture on Amazon had black screws and my other Thomson stems have black screws. I am trying to make my bike completely blacked out and these really stand out. The silver hardware goes with the silver stem and the black hardware goes with the black stem. I'm not sure why mine got mixed up. It is important to me to have the product look like the one advertised.

All Thompson stuff is 5 star.
