I ordered 3 pairs of these - 2 wides and one regular. The 10 wide was the same shoe as the 10 regular, was not labeled as wide on the shoe, but came in a box marked wide. The other wide was the same so I can only assume someone put a batch of these in the wrong box. Otherwise they seem like a decent shoe, maybe a bit overpriced.

I probably need to manage my expectations better, but I have had a great experience with the durability of Cat Footwear in the past. While other shoes have fallen to shreds within a year or so, Cat shoes I've had previously have lasted for multiple years.I bought these shoes in hopes that they would be both acceptable in a business casual environment (now I am much easier on my shoes and work in an office), and durable enough to still do yard work in. While they do seem to be a great pair of shoes and check most of the boxes (time will tell on durability), the exposed foam midsole has already gotten a pretty nasty gash from using these for shoveling.I have very short wide feet and the wide size of both these and other Cat shoes seems to fit great.

These "food service" shoes are really comfortable! I can see why they call them "food service", though there's got to be a better name. Someone who is a waiter/waitress and on their feet all day long would love these - the black is reasonably attractive, the support that feet and ankles need is all there, and the comfort lasts all day long. They aren't exactly formal shoes, but they are "nice enough" for food service types of work. As an engineer, I can wear these for days when I might need to go "in the field" to job sites (at least, to ones that don't require steel toes). Recommended!
