Developlus Color Oops Color Remover (Extra Conditioning) (2 Pack)

Color Oops is a FANTASTIC product!! My daughter suggested it after I experienced a terribly bad color job at the salon that had me in tears! I thought I’d be stuck with my hair color that resembled red fake clown or doll hair! This product gave me my life back. No more hiding under hats or staying at home!If you literally follow the directions to a T, it will remove your undesired color and take you back to your original or natural color….without damaging it!! There’s no ammonia or bleach in it, and it actually left my hair with a silky bounce when I followed it up with a good conditioner. Amazing transformation!! Please particularly follow the rinsing instructions, as it’s a critical step to ensure the effectiveness of your results. My husband actually assisted me with it all! Lol….. Seriously though, if you don’t have someone to help you, just make sure you set timers for the whole process. I obviously would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone in this situation. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I definitely would! I’m extremely happy with the results!P. S. If you have thick or long hair, make sure to order two boxes. I used almost all of 2 boxes, and was glad I had another one for complete coverage. Also, a lot of reviews mentioned the bad smell. Does it smell great? No, but it’s tolerable and not nearly as bad as all of them say.

The smell isn't as bad as a lot of people have made it seem, not like sulfur or rotten eggs but definitely not a pleasant smell. Definitely rinse for as long as you can handle; the longer you rinse and more you shampoo, the more color comes out - even if it seems like you got out as much color as you could & can't tell that more is coming out, it still is. If you can handle rinsing and shampooing intensely like 5 times for an hour then do it! The next couple times your hair gets wet or you shower, the smell will re-awaken, and it's not a great smell. Definitely use good smelling shampoo or conditioner or hair masks. If you bleach your hair a couple days later because it didn't take out as much color as you wanted/you just want your hair lighter then that completely gets rid of the smell!! I'm sure if you used a different hair dye that would have the same effect. But if you're only using Color Oops on its own with no plans to do anything else to your hair, then beware that you'll smell it again when your hair gets wet! If you have super thick or long hair then 2-4 boxes might be necessary to actually cover all of your hair, I was glad that I bought 3 boxes just in case and not expecting to use all 3 but still did, but that left just one little strip that didn't get covered (thick hair). It works great but your hair will feel super dry after all the shampooing and rinsing so make sure you have some hair repair mask or moisturizing conditioner you can leave in for a while after. Wonderful product that does what it says though, just rinse longer than it says to!!

I did a lot of research on this product and for everyone complaining about this, it isn’t supposed to work for bright colors and it says that on the box and in the description if you bothered to read it. I’m a natural blonde and dyed my hair brown about a year ago and wanted to go natural because I’m tired of dying it so often from hair growth. I used this and it lifted my hair just a few levels but was very noticeably lighter. I did more research and since my hair was dyed for so long and I had redyed it so many times this was completely normal. I would buy it again incase I dyed my hair and wanted to remove it again, just don’t wait as long as I did to use it. And yes it stinks, but if you wash your hair like directed on the box it goes away.

I bought this product from my granddaughter she is the first part and it worked fine when she went to use the second part it exploded on her.

I had a tiny bit of green and purple left on my hair from a semi-permanent dye and 1 treatment of the color oops did make somewhat of a difference—there’s still a tint of green and blue (from the purple) but the directions say it may take 2-3 treatments.The smell isn’t pleasant but is ok (not as bad I had expected from what some people had reviewed).

I wish I had not put off using this for so many years, because I was afraid I would stink. So much damaged hair from bleaching, because I was afraid I would stink.This stuff is amazing.I had several applications of black in my hair when I decided to use it. I followed the instructions very precisely, several applications of black are GONE. I am amazed at its effectiveness. It was an effort to shower that long, yes. But was it worth it? Yes.And here is the kicker. It didn't really stink at all for me. Perms smell worse. I do not know if they have changed the formula so it would not stink, but my application smelled no worse than an average hair dye application.So my advice is, if you are going to try it, read the instructions carefully before you start, evaluate whether or not your previous dye jobs fit the bill. If you do decide to do it, commit to the process. And if it doesn't work, try again or reexamine what sort of dye you have used in the past.But it is certainly worth a try before damaging your hair with bleach.

Works great/quick! Removed all my burgundy color. Glad this came as a two pack. I have long hair and needed both boxes.Only bad thing is the scent.

The smell was not so bad as what I expected, I would buy this again if I needed to remove Color from my hair
