Great. Keeps in the fridge for up to a year and a half. Great preventive for all fish, frogs, toads, any aquatic aquarium. Three drops per gallon. Prevents red leg in aquatic frogs, land frogs and toads. Great for ponds, fish tanks. No one should be without this. I lost many fish and frogs before finding out about this product. I have not lost any since using this product. With every water change, add the appropriate amount that is above, and you should have healthy animals.

I recently had an african dwarf frog that died from what appeared to be Red Leg only a week after I added him to my ADF tank. Up until then, I had been relying on weekly water changes with Seachem Stability to populate the aquarium with good bacteria. Because I had another dwarf frog in the tank, and Red Leg is fairly contagious, I purchased KoiZyme to see if that would help stop the spread to that frog. A lot of online forums mentioned this product, specifically. After the initial 5 treatments (I have a 5 gallon tank so the initial treatment dosage was 2 eye dropper drops), the water in the tank was incredibly clear, and my other frog never showed signs of infection or illness. I continue to use a weekly maintenance dose (a mere 1 drop per week), which has helped maintain the clarity of the water as well as the health of my frog. This is definitely a product you want to have and use if you have aquatic frogs. The concentration of this product means that I won't run out until way after its expiration date (18 months from purchase), making it well worth its cost. I bought this product after discovering one of my African dwarf frogs had an infection. His poor little body looked like a massive sunburn. After asking around some ADF forums, I stumbled upon this. One drop a week and my babies haven't had another infection. I used this with some aquarium salt to clear up the first infection. Great product, and using literally one drop means it will last FOREVER.

Not understanding why the bottle's last pre-printed date was 2014. This product is know to have a very specific life of about 2 years when refrigerated.

We had a serious pond crash & burn situation this spring. Filter faltered and then failed, and we have a very heavy fish load. We needed a new filter design so we were slow in getting the filter built and installed. Our water quality rapidly deteriorated. By the time the new filter was up and running, several of the fish had developed large sores on the bodies. Read about this and ordered immediately. Delivery was very fast! It is incredible how rapidly the sores are clearing up. In only about eight days, they are clearly on the mend, beginning to see scale definition in the damaged areas and the wounds are noticeably smaller. I give this product all the credit, it is worth every penny. This will be part of our pond maintenance from now on.

I use this product every spring when the fish are coming out of winter dormancy and have weak immune systems. This is a probiotic bacteria that is supposed to out compete *bad* bacteria in the water system to help your fish stay healthy. I have used it when the fish have red mouths or act *off* and they have always improved. This product and/or bentonite clay are my first line of defense. Salt would be the second line of defense. I have also read that it was tested and proved effective after the expiration date. It is gentle, as it is not a medication, does not stress the fish or plants, or biological system. I can't say enough good things about it.

I used this last Spring, coming out of winter, and my Koi did great and seemed stress free. I do believe it helps Spring startup problems. Not sure about other times of the year. Not cheap so I will continue to use it at Spring start up only.
