Easy Heat #10805 Freeze Free 5' Kit by Easy Heat

I purchased this to protect a water pipe. There is no protection against fire or over heating. This device is not your normal heater. Description does not tell you that there is no thermostat. I feel this product is misrepresented by not disclosing this. Description also does not say either if anything else is needed. My plumber has recommend to me to not install ,due to fire risk. This need to have some type of protection to avoid a fire. Product does not disclose this.
