I have been excited about Luna Sundara since I stumbled upon their website. Not only are their products absolutely beautiful, they buy their ceramics directly from artisans in Peru and source their Palo Santo wood directly from reserves by only using the broken branches and fallen trees.The red and black ceramic holder I ordered is even more beautiful than I imagined! It has flecks of blue and turquoise, a real testament to the craftsmanship and care that when into creating them. The wood smells amazing--I don't know how else to describe it. It's earthy, but a biblical smell as well, like myrrh. I also am a sucker for packaging and love how it was sent: a neat cardboard box and a soft case to store your ceramic holder when you're not using it which was a lovely surprise (but who wouldn't want to show it off?!). Definitely #instagrammable.I hadn't heard of Palo Santo wood before ordering so I would encourage you to learn about the history. I think that if you're going to order Palo Santo wood, ordering it from Luna Sundara is probably one of the most ethically ways you can buy it.
