Well written and easy to read.
I chose this book because I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. I wanted to get a perspective from someone who has been through treatment and how they managed side effects. This book was easy to read and gave me alot of information that I was not aware of. I am glad that someone who had TNBC wrote a book for others going through the same prognosis. Thank you for sharing your story for others to learn from. I wish you a full recovery with no reoccurances.

A great book even if you have a different kind of cancer.
I found out my mother in law had small cell lung cancer last year even though she has a different kind of cancer then the author had I still decide to try this book since I liked the authors previous romance novels. The book really helped everyone in our family and gave us hope. Like the author my mother in law was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer. Nine months later my mother in law is in remission from the cancer we are hoping it won't come back. But when the doctors were gloomy and telling us that her one tumor would never go away this book gave us hope. The author is very talented at telling her story even if you don't have cancer the story is really interesting to read.

Great source of information for newly diagnosed Triple Negative
i rated high because of all the valuable information regarding tests and results. All were explained in terms easy to understand and where I could compare with my results. As with any cancer, everyone experiences different reactions to chemo, radiation etc. Don't expect the worse and don't immediately react to every small change as a catastrophic event. Document and discuss with your oncologist in your next visit; unless it's weeks away. Keep your oncologist number handy and call with concerns. Highly recommend a journal to document every event, dr appointment and everything in between. Trust me, chemo brain will kick in and you'll be glad you have notes. Great read!!!!

A book for everyone
Ann Tracy Marr is a successful fiction novelist whose books combine romance with history and a fair amount of magic thrown in.With Dear Cancer there’s none of the above. It is a tell-all, no holds barred, account of Ms Marr’s battle with triple-negative breast cancer. Despite the subject matter, her writing talents make this a very readable book, even if the reader is not a sufferer, because it certainly isn’t maudling. She grabs her disease by its horns and gives it a thorough shaking at the same time describing with love the support and affection she received from her lovely family. So this book can be read by anyone—those interested in reading a personal account of how a positive person grapples with this disease; those suffering from it who can follow a fellow-sufferer’s path right from diagnosis through to remission; and those who might have similar cancers who will find that Ms Marr’s experience is not unlike their own. Ms Marr is a positive person who’s lovely humour and confidence shines through every page. I thoroughly recommend this as a read for everyone.
