Harris 102064313 Seriously Good Wood Scraper, Grey, White Large

I used this to strip off the paint on the frame of some old stained glass windows id bought before fitting them. It’s good quality and did the job, I’ve used similar in the past on different projects they are great for getting old paint off of wood.

Great tool for stripping paint off wood. Easy to use. Replace the blade by turning the screw and simply rotating the blade. The blades hold their sharpness which makes this very good value. Would recommend.

Was looking at carbide scrapers but wasn't sure which so took a chance on this as it was inexpensive and a next day delivery. It did remove some old varnish without the use of chemicals but is best suited to larger surfaces I think. The fine blade I used is sharp so be careful not to catch it on your non-scraping hand as I did more than once!

Works a treat really good value for money

Love this blade, as a woman with extensive nerve damage it's hard for me to feel with my fingers sometimes so was constantly cutting or burning myself why removing paint, that was until I found this. Wow removes a veriaty of different paint surfaces, I've even used to remove plaster from floor boards after some DIY.. Brilliant price too & any replacement blades are also good price..

It’s okay, not great, just okay. The stripping edge is not flat more rounded so if using to strip old paint it does gouge into the actual wood surface. Thought I’d give this a go for guitar body stripping but unfortunately it’s a fail for that type of work leaving unwanted marks in wood, ok for relic projects maybe but for refinishing would give this a miss.

This tool has come really handy in scrapping varnish from the kitchen worktop and have also used it to fix around the sticky doors. while using for a long duration, the screw comes loose if it is not tightened really well.
