Lots bigger than they look.
They are great scissors and I'll keep them. I'm looking for a pair for snipping threads and able to cut pieces of material. Most thread scissors aren't good for anything else.

Very good scissors for the money
I needed these scissors for cutting wired ribbon. They work great. I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort. The scissors are not heavy even though they look heavy, they are not. There is no pressure on the thumb due to the design. I would buy these scissors again.
