Spocoro 4 Point Safety Harness 2" Straps, Buckle Style for Go-Kart & Racing Seat, Orange (Pack of 1)

Danger!! I would NOT trust these. I bought them thinking of putting them in my Jeep for ease of in/out with the single buckle. These are like regular seatbelts with inferior metal mounting tabs and cheap, thin meal and plastic for buckle. Metal for mounting is thin and light (Feels like pot metal or aluminum- painted not powder coated) compared to other real harnesses that has 3/16” mounting metal (mounted an RCI SFI certified in my sons go kart). I would maybe trust these for a SLOW go kart, but not for a kid any larger than 50 lbs- DEFINITELY NOT for ANY car or truck for a regular size adult at any speed over 20MPH. Came with mounting bolts as described (ironically better quality than belts/tabs). If you want a good affordable harness- go with a known brand that makes SFI certified harnesses (RCI or RJS)

Pros/cons - seem quality to me, strap and buckles seem fine for UTV riding. I installed this on a Massimo T-Boss 550 which is a small single cab UTV and the straps are simply just way too long. Note that they do come with some hardware but seem to assume users are installing into a welded nut type scenario. I had to re-use some of the nuts in my install. Hindsight being 20/20, I would have bought 3" wide 4-points and paid the extra $. Cheapest option for sure.

I purchased this to put in my sons miniature race kart. It is too large for that and I also was a bit concerned about how cheap the plastic buckle felt. It is like a normal car buckle but applied to a 4 point racing harness makes me a bit concerned. I am returning it based on the size not fitting the application I need it for. This would probably be a good candidate for a modified street car but I dont think I would be running it on a track.

We were able to use this harness on a go-kart project. The install required that we weld plates with holes for anchoring the ends in a pin/bolt connection. The ends could have been just welded as the plates are thick enough. Quality materials and make. If it works once, it paid for itself.

The buckle is plastic and broke after one use when my son got into it in his go cart. It’s really nice and adjustable. But the buckle is junk. So the most important part of the harness is busted. The first one I bought hasn’t broken yet, so I think it’s a fluke. I won’t be buying this one again unless it’s replaced.

I liked the quality of these, but I returned them ONLY because my application was a little hinky and could not use them safely. I would buy them again if I could use them later on another project.

They are good for my Polaris rzr but I originally purchased them for my 98 Jeep Wrangler but they wouldn’t work with the harness bar. And they didn’t come with all the bolts to mount them but there could have been worse things.
