A: The wheels on these scooters are plastic and they rotate with the scooter's movement which prevents rubbing on floor surfaces.

As a kid who grew up playing with scooters like this in elementary school, I knew I had to find something like it for my kids. I looked at the big brands and only found expensive scooters that had backs to them, so kids over 5 or so can't use them. This was not going to cut it because I wanted to give this to my 4 and 6 year old kids. I got to talking with a friend about these types of scooter and we did a search, which turned up these scooters. I looked at a few other brands but this was the best price and the handles seem to be far enough out that kids fingers won't get pinched. When it came these were like nostalgia in a box. The scooter is well made, it has a sturdy plastic body with wheels on the bottom that hold up plenty of weight. We tried them out on the hard wood in the house and they glide very well on it without scratching the floor at all. The kids love them, they can sit, kneel or lay on the scooter and spent plenty of time just gliding around and laughing together. My kids are happy and I am glad I purchased this. We will be buying a couple more so everyone can have their own.
