Professional Cable ST35MM-06 Stereo 3.5 mm 6 Feet M/M Cable - Black

I got three of these to replace a set that came with my logitech 5.1 speakers. I managed to cut one of the wires with a little too over enthused wire management. Anyway, these are, I'm sure, roughly 6 feet long but they are shorter than I expected. So if you are planning on doing the same, be prepared. The quality, as in thickness of the wire and covering, is less than I would like, but for $2 you get what you pay for. However, I was only able to use two of the three cables sent to me. The third had the protective covering either too far up the plug, we're talking at least a 1/4 of an inch here, or was jammed down into the coating. I'm not sure which. Either way, removing the possibly excess coating did not save the wire. Now, if I was given the option to purchase these again, well, I would have ordered four, but I would have ordered them. They aren't great, they may not all work, but they're cheaper than probably the exact same cable Radio Shack wanted to charge me $10 for. Just be aware, as usual, you do get what you pay for. Maybe in this case a little less.Edit: After posting the review the seller contacted me about a refund or replacement without having to return the product. I did not take him up on his offer but he is obviously willing to back up his products, which is rare enough, but to do it without being asked is damn near unheard of. Bottom line, he deserves the extra stars, and I'd buy from this seller again.

I needed a regular aux cable to use on a regular 2.1 speaker system in my bathroom. And as far as I wanted, the cable does not need to be fancy nor gold plated or anything to get the music up while I was in the room.This cable got the job done, as described. Nothing fancy and the price is awesome! Happy with it.However, there is already a flaw with the cable. The sound became static and fades out as I press the butt of the plug firmly using my thumb and index finger. This is a sign that this cable would not last very long before the inner core break and all I hear is one side of the speaker.For people who looking for a better cable to use on high end, powerful wattage set of speakers, I recommend a Gold coated cable for maximum conductivity and a little better looking design such as this one: <...>

I purchased this cord to work as the audio cable to connect my laptop to my HDTV.... I'm sure the cord works just fine, only problem was it was far too short... our TV is mounted up above our fireplace, so we need at least a 6 foot cord for this. In the discription of this product it said it was 6 ft, but it's really only about 3 ft... the seller was absolutely awesome with the return however! Refunded my account right away, and told me I could either keep the cord or send it back, my choice. I would recommend this seller to others without a second thought!

I bought 3 of the cables because I wanted to have one on hand if one of them fails. The cable looked more rugged than I expected due to the price. I placed one of the cables in my wife's van for use with my MP3 player, and for my sons' Ipods. That cable has not failed over 2-3 months of use and abuse, so I am happy.The attributes that Amazon has you rate these cables are no quite right. Most people probably use these cables for MP3 players, so sound quality should not be a problem unless the cable are carp. Also, comfort? Do I wear the cables? How do you determine that. People buying these cables are probably interested in durability and value.

I gotta go out on a limb here and call-out this item. I do not believe it is a 6 foot cord. Maybe 3 foot POSSIBLY 4. Definitely not 6 foot though. Good quality cable, small disappointment in size but will still work for what I need. Guess if I REALLY was concerned about the length I would get this same type item from another seller or possibly a cord that was excessively longer than needed so I didn't end up on the short end of the stick... er, cable.

I'm going to chalk it up to mostly user error (aka drunk roommate) that a couple of these cables were broken. There is a pretty significant buzzing when I use these with my MacBook (but that's expected with such a cheap cable). Two of them have broken, which again, I just assume is user error. However, I've never been able to break 3.5mm chords in the past (the end just snapped off) so that, and the buzzing, is why I'm giving it 4 stars. Good value though, would buy again.

The Cords are awsome indeed the price is awsome seriously go to one of your retail over priced store and they will charge you much more then this seller did hands down.I mean much more for a stupid piece of wire.These cords are heavy death thick insulated even the tips have a nice big piece of plastic.There just real thick solid stereo cords really awsome im happy I use one for my zune in my car and I use the other for my line 6 amp head that I run into my computer.Think no longer buy u will see the quality of em !

I needed something to connect my iPad to a dock and not at a great expense since I don't need to do it that often. I ordered one of these cables and then checked the retailers around. This cable was delivered, (free shipping) and worked great! I could have left my house, driven to the store and paid 3 times as much for the same thing. I was so happy with the first cable I received that I bought another one for a spare. I may never need it but who cares? I'm still $3 ahead and can hook up another toy if I ever need to.
