Ladies Irish Cable Knit Merino Wool Cardigan for Women Made in Ireland

This sweater fit as described, feels scrumptious on, and exceeded my expectations!

I had this identical sweater for over 10 years. I needed a larger size, and was amazed to find it! I gave the smaller one to my daughter, and will wear this one for years to come. There are always compliments on it. Indeed, a real classic!

The buttons are poorly sewn on and one was about to come off upon arrival of the sweater. I have worn it twice and it is nubby or pulling on the sleeves and sides. Too big I. Some areas and pulls/too small across chest and bottom. My measurements were well within those online.

I usually wear a medium but ordered a small, based on reviews. It fits pretty well-except a little loose in the hips and the sleeves are a little long. Otherwise, I rellyBased on reviews I ordered a small, even though I wear medium. Good thing I did. It's definitely not a small. The sleeves are a little long and it's a little loose in the hips. But the problems big aren't enough to send it back. I really like it otherwise.

Pros: Very pretty sweater! Is it merino? Idk I bet merino varies a lot, it's not too itchy and I have fibromyalgia so I'm sensitive. Smells good and sheepy. Looks very pretty. Cons: no pockets (eh okay that's my fault) sleeves were a lil short and my biggest beef; I'm a knitter/sewist and this has serged seams. As in, a high quality sweater is usually seamed with a chain stitch because every panel is knitted separately. If you know sweaters this might bother you, but it's well made nonetheless.Size info: athleticish 5'3" 127 small fit fine.Keeping it.

I had a sweater like this in grey, and loved it. I am going to love this one just as much. Wonderful quality, and always brings compliments when I wear it. I'm 5'5", 160 lbs, and generously busted, so I bought a large, and out fits beautifully. I am able to button it closed if I choose to do so. I love that it has no pockets! Knit pockets are always saggy and sloppy looking. So this sweater has a very nice, neat, attractive look that I really enjoy.

Usually sweaters and things are small and chintzy. Not this. It's heavy and high quality and quite honestly, much larger than I expected. If you're contemplating between two sizes, go smaller. I'm 5'9" and wear XL and I swim in the Xl but its great to stay warm in! High quality.
