Bartoline Ready Mixed Plaster Skim and Repair 2.5 L

Wow!!! This stuff is fantastic!!! I’ve purchased two pots of it one after the other. It’s saved me an absolute fortune. It’s really easy to work with, dries quickly and is super easy to sand down to smooth. I’ve used it for simple little filler jobs but also for repairing quite a large area of missing plaster that had blown when stripping wallpaper in my traditional terrace. It was down to brick. I was able to build it up in layers (had to do it this way as it was such a large area). But it applied a dream and dried quickly. Smoothed it out and papered over it and it’s so good. Saved me £100’s. The decorator commented on how well prepped the wall was and I have no experience plastering. I’ve used to patch up other areas that weren’t even or had flaws and painted over and it gives such a great finish I can’t tell you. I swear by this stuff now!!! One of the best things I’ve ever bought from Amazon!!!!! Both pots arrive quickly and in perfect condition. Solid 5 stars without hesitation. No complaints whatsoever.

It’s very good I use it for ceiling in my bathroom, I read a review before purchasing that make cracks I was a bit scared but so far no cracks and easy to plaster. I would recommend it.

It is smooth and easy to apply. However, it shrinks like mad. I know some of this is my fault for probably applying it to thickly but even on an area where it is only about 1.5-2mm it still shrank. I knew I would have to go over the whole lot twice as it is in such an awkward area. I've now painted it with SBR to seal it, filled in all the cracks with another product and will give it a finishing layer to tidy it up. I dare say this hot weather hasn't helped, plus the absorbancy of the old wall. I should have given that a coat of SBR before starting.

Brilliant! So easy to use. Leaves a good finish too. Excellent value for money. Plenty of the product and will certainly be enough to finish the job i need it for. Left overnight to dry and the finish looks great!

Easy to use it’s a very good product no stickiness it’s good for small jobs and big jobs

Brought this item a few time without any problems, unfortunately due to not being packaged correctly the tub had been damaged. Other than that good product and easy to work with.

I was a bit sceptical about ordering this as ive never plastered before and also all the negative reviews about people receiving damaged packages, that really wasnt going to help me use the product if it was already damaged, but I received it in perfect condition. It went on relatively easy, you can use a scraper to get into the hard to reach places and a trowel for the larger area's, I tried to get it as smooth as I could, but as it starts to dry out, rather than smoothing out it just breaks up, so I quickly learned to use a spray bottle and fine mist some water over the top that helped a lot. One disappointment which is the reason I gave it 4 stars is it seems to crack as its drying and just meant I had to apply more and more coats until it stopped cracking, obviously I want a smooth finish not a cracked one, see pictures, it only takes about an hour to dry before you can put another layer on it, especially in this hot weather that we are having at the moment.
