Good lock for traveling abroad
Easy to use lock! Was able to easily customize my own combo. Felt sturdy and was a good value for my bike box.

Works great on my bike's trunk bag
I recently purchased bikes with MIK trunk bags. The bags come easily on and off with a special MIK key, but I really didn't want to be taking the bag on and off everywhere I stopped. I don't live in huge city where theft is a huge issue with bicycles, so I figured a simple luggage lock would suffice. This lock really fits the bill. It goes through the zippers for the bag to lock it, and fits perfectly in the bag's side pocket when I don't need it. So far I have not had anything stolen while I'm at work or in restaurants/bars on a ride. The only negative I would say about this lock is that numbers don't click into place very well, so sometimes you may not have the number selected that you think because it's just slightly off.

Good enough but won't reorder
I have similar comments to other reviewers. The numbers are hard to see. Pushing the cable to the left before pulling out is not intuitive. I received red because I didn't realize shipments are randomly selected. Apart from all of that, the locks seem to work. However, I don't think I would reorder these as there are much simpler locks, some under the same brand.

Great lock for bags and backpacks
I purchased this lock in order to help my children secure their backpacks at school and it has made a world of difference! The design is brilliant – it’s light weight and strong! Being able to lock the zippers together is useful, and they offer several color choices to make it feel personal. The thing that is impressive is the ease of usage. The 3-digit code is easy to set up and recall while the quick unlatching system is ideal for children as they might have to reach for the bags numerous times throughout the day. Its useful, it’s also long lasting, moreover, it gives my children security without any stress. Strongly suggest this lock for students or any other people who wants to secure their belongings in an easy manner!

Horrible Design - Impossible to Reset Combination
I had the exact same problem as the person who wrote the following review, so I am reposting it here. STRONGLY RECOMMEND AGAINST THIS PRODUCT unless you want to go through the hassle of returning it.“Someone posted earlier that this lock is extremely difficult to reset. I agree whole-heartedly. This lock requires 3 hands to reset it - 1 to hold this small, slippery lock, 1 to turn the tiny dials located very close to one another, 1 to hold in the reset button while you are setting your new combination. The reset button is on the bottom of the lock and is recessed, necessitating you to use some sort of tool like a pen, to keep the button pressed in. If you lose pressure on the button because of the awkward nature of holding the lock, holding the pen/button and spinning the dials, and then you lock the lock, you may not have reset your combination to what you were aiming for. When the lock is open, you have to have the lock set to the correct combination before you can reset it. All of this happened to me and now I can't lock the lock or reset it because I'm unsure of what the combination is that I reset it to - since the combination I wanted doesn't work and the initial factory 000 combination doesn't work either. Supposedly, if I want to cycle through every combination there could be it would eventually unlock, but to me it's not worth the $10+ I spent on this to spend any more time with this thing.Other Master Locks have a rigid hasp that you turn to 90 degrees which makes it much easier to reset the lock. Definitely don't recommend this lock at all for the difficulty in resetting it.”

Good lock
Very functional combination lock is easy to open and close. Overall, great to use. I wouldn't say it's meant for heavy security, it's kinda thin, but it functions well as a lock. Good value for the money and so far has lasted awhile. Standard color and fits well on my medicine box. Easy to program combination. I would repurchase this in the future.

This is a good lock at a good price, but weird to use
This travel lock was a good value and it functions as designed. But I have to warn you that it works a bit different than other travel locks, and requires some getting used to. Had I known this lock was so strangely designed, I would have paid the extra $3 and gone for another brand. For one thing, the order of the three numbers in the combination are vertical (top to bottom) rather than horizontal. You have to get used to holding the lock vertically and entering in the combination this way. It can also be difficult to remember to line the numbers up with the tiny guide dots that are between the numbers. In a dark room, you may have trouble entering in your combination if you can't see where to line up the numbers. Finally, unlike every other travel lock -- and even unlike any other padlock in general -- the lock unlocks horizontally rather than vertically. Instead of pulling the locking cable out of the lock, you push it to the side. This is so completely counter-intuitive I still struggle with it. And combined with not always knowing where to line up the numbers, you may think you are entering in the wrong combination if you can't see what you are doing and can't see how to pull the cable to the side to unlock it.The lock is good quality and performs well. I hate to give something that is cheap and well-made a mediocre review. But it's just too awkward to use. Spend a couple extra bucks and get a normal travel lock.
