I like the way it looks on my desk. It looks elegant and it’s functional too. I didn’t think that I needed it right until I started looking for accessories for my MacBook Air 2019 and I was shown many laptop stands. And I realized that if I wanted to read or write on my journal I would need free space. But I wasn’t going to just set my laptop asides. It had to be put in an elegant, practical and secure way. The stand is sturdy. It doesn’t flex or anything. It just stays put with the weight of my laptop and I don’t have to fight with it when I need to take it from or leave it on the stand. The color space gray matches my laptop beautifully. The interchangeable inserts are great in case that I decide to buy a different MacBook model. I think that the price was right for the quality of this product and I would even recommend it to anyone who is thinking about getting a stand like this.

I have ben using the Arc with my MacBook Air for a few months now and it does the job of reducing desk space while looking smart. I initially didn’t realize that they provide different inserts depending upon your machine but once I sorted that out it is fine. I do feel that the fit could be a little bit more snug as there is a bit of movement but I would rather that than damaging the PC. A nice addition to my desk although I think it is a bit over priced for what it is.

Other types tend to restrict the exhaust cooling hinge side, meaning you have to insert opening lid side down, to allow cooling.The benefits of the book arc are less stress on any cables attached to the thunderbolt 3 ports, as they are just a few centimetres of the desk/table surface. The others because you want your MacBook to stay as cool as possible, put a lot of stress on the ports as they are around 25cm of the surface (15”MacBook Pro).For those wanting to use your MacBook in a clam shell position, this is one of the best solutions with a 4K large monitor, or two monitors, especially if using with one of the mini thunderbolt hubs which have small cables.Elegant and practical for those with limited space or with a suitable monitor that don’t need the laptop open.

Estas bases de 12 South son una verdadera maravilla. Si quieres tener tu Mac Book de pié y que te ahorre espacio, este es el producto que buscas. Su construcción es de puro aluminio, pesado y robusto. Tiene gomas en las 4 esquinas para evitar que resbale. Es pequeño, pero muy estable. Esta es una de mis bases favoritas.No es muy específico en cuanto a si le queda a una MacBook Pro de 15" o a una MAcBook Air. Te puedo decir que a las 2 les queda bien. Había leido que tenía que comprar una goma específica para cada modelo pero no tuve que hacerlo.La altura a la que queda la laptop es bastante buena y permite que el conector "Magsafe" quede perfectamente cargando la computadora sin que toque el escritorio. El arco tiene en la hendidura una goma de plástico en la que insertas la computadora, pero aparte trae un pasacables para ocultar los mismos atrás de la laptop y lograr una instalación más limpia. Muy bien aquí. De la misma maneta como la forma es de arco y la goma solo sujeta de los lados; la ventilación de la Mac Book no se ve comprometida en ningún momento pues queda libre y a altura suficiente para permitir tanto el ingreso de aire como su expulsión.El aluminio combina bien con el acabado de las laptops de Apple.
