Works great
So I'm using this for some back lit mirrors for a bathroom. This switch actually works through the mirror. You have to touch the face near the switch which is on the back.

Just What I Needed
We weren't certain this switch would work as it was a different brand than the one we were replacing ~~ but it actually worked better than the original!! We are very satisfied!

Works, but you have to scrape off the backing of the mirror.
Very nice idea making the mirror a switch. This device does just that and more but it does require that you scrape off a small area or the silver backing on the mirror to mount the sensor. This is a delicate operation, at least for me. because if you remove too much it will be very visible from the front. I was hoping all I had to do was stick it on but no, it takes some work. So a very good product that requires some careful installation.

Almost works
Used this switch to replace a bad one in a large mirror of mine. Not sensitive enough to turn off and on thru the glass. Have to touch it from the back.

Very reliable - maybe worth the price
It's expensive for a touch switch module, but it works well

Magic Mirror Switch...
Planning on doing a magic mirror project, but needed some type of touch sensor switch (since I wasn't going to come up with a giant touchscreen lol). This works out great for what I'm planning. Sensor distance is around 1/4", but I'm sure less once behind the mirror. I do notice that it is sensitive to the touch point and if you go to the edges (of the LED panel) it won't register your touch. Not a deal breaker by any means and you quickly get the hang of touching where it needs to be touched. The output of the switch is basically 0.0V when off (and LED is red) and whatever voltage you are powering this with when on (and LED is blue). So if you power it with 12V, you'll get 12V on the output wires when on. If you power it with 24V, you'll get 24V on the output wires when on. Keep this in mind when doing your wiring. Uses 0.17W of power to run (on or off). This doesn't include running any devices from the output side...this is just to run the switch and the LED on the switch. This is a great switch for what it is made for. Nice LED glow/feedback for switch state. Could be used as a no-contact switch. If you need something like this, no problems recommending it. It does what it is suppose to do...

Not what I was expected
The media could not be loaded. It doesn’t switch at all, just switch between 12v and 11.77v… Disappointing.

Clever switch, works nice
I’m using this on a glass control panel, to keep the surface clean
