Nice little set of books. Good stories that my little animal/bug lover 7yr old is enjoying. If I had to be picky, I’d say the slightly colloquial style of writing makes them better to read to your child than for them to read alone. My daughter is reading them to me and, while she can easily read all the words correctly often misses the slight ironic/sarcastic humour unless she pauses and asks me to explain.
