A MUST NEEDED LIFESAVER
THIS IS GREAT STUFF !!! I HATE SEWING ~~ I MEAN I CAN SEW ~~ BASIC SEWING AND IF I REALLY HAD TO I COULD PROBABLY SEW A HEMLINE HOWEVER IT WOULD NOT COME OUT VERY STRAIGHT AT ALL. SO THIS TAPE IS A PERFECT. I AM ON THE SHORT SIDE AND NOT ALL PANTS AND JEANS COME IN A SHORT LENGTH AND SOMETIMES THERE IS JUST THAT ONE PAIR OF PANTS THAT I JUST REALLY WANT THAT IS JUST TOO LONG SO I AM GLAD FOR THIS TAPE. IT IS EASY TO USE AND THE HEMLINE IS EASY TO GET STRAIGHT. I BOUGHT THIS IN BOTH THE WHITE AND HE BLACK SO THAT I WOULD HAVE THIS FOR BOTH MY JEANS AND FOR MY LIGHT SUMMER PANTS. I WAS REALLY AFRAID THAT ONCE I HAD THIS DONE THAT IT WOULDN'T HOLD UP IN THE WASH HOWEVER IT DID.. NOW I DO ONLY WASH IN COLD AS I AM TO AFRAID THAT THE HOT WATER WOULD WEAKEN THE ADHESIVE ON THE TAPE SO I WILL JUST CONTINUE TO WASH ON COLD BUT THAT IS NO BIGGIE TO ME AS LONG AS I DO NOT HAVE TO THREAD A NEEDLE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE !!

Works great to shorten pants.
Easy fix to shorten pants. Am a senior that has become shorter over the years. Followed directions for easy fix. Saved $s at expensive tailor. Still holding after many washings.

Difficult to work with
Very very flimsy and difficult to unroll as the ends fuse together. Used them on heavy duty curtains and they have held up and not come apart. Took a long time to get them to stay together, lots of ironing over and over before they finally did the job

Iron you seam that you plan to hem first
After spending $300 on a suit for prom, I wasn't going to spend another $100 to hem my sons pants. I marked the length he wanted by folding the pants inside the ankle, making sure he had the shoes on with the pants. Heat up the iron. Turn the pants inside out keeping the folded mark for the hem. Just follow the directions. I ironed the new length making a good crease where the new hem would be. Snipped a piece of the tape to fit one half of the pant leg and tucked it inside where I ironed. Followed the direction for how long to iron. Once it felt secure, I flipped the leg to the other side and repeated process. Worked great!

Absolute trash
This cr*p melted onto the iron and did not adhere to the fabric at all or fix my problem. Left a sticky mess there and now my ironing board cover is ruined and I have to scrub my iron once its cooled. This stuff went straight into the trash.

Good emergency fix
If you have an iron handy this is good for making hem repairs. It has a strong bind so make sure you have the material where you want it when you put heat to it. It comes in several colors and I recommend getting one of each. Good stuff.!
