The Vonn name is associated with quality and we wanted to give this LED light fixture a try. Very nicely packaged and arrived in great condition. IMO this light is a bit pricy for the simplicity and design. LED lighting has been coming down in price over the past few years. The instructions are pretty simple and it would help if you have some prior experience with electrical installations. We really like the lamp so far and it worked perfectly right out of the box. Amazon shipped quick and it was up and running the next day. If you have a low ceiling height be warned that you will have plenty of extra cable to tuck away inside the canopy because you can not cut off the excess wire

Packaging was good and the light arrived in perfect condition. It looked just ok from the box, maybe even a bit cheap. But once installed it looks really nice, especially when it's it up, and even though it's really simple it looks like a high quality product. We put this in the master bedroom and the ceiling has a bit of an angle so this works great. It makes a tiny buzzing sound which probably isn't noticeable unless your room/neighborhood is absolutely silent at night. It doesn't bother me and I'll wait to see if it goes away after a period of use.

Very nice product that is working well and looks great. We have a contemporary house and this lamp is very simple and elegant. Though made in China, it's well finished and solidly constructed. The diffuser used in the lamp is superb - you cannot see any LED 'hot spots', just smooth, even lighting.Hanging it is not simple; it's a 2 person job. The lamp itself in fairly heavy and the round canister (ceiling fixture) contains two transformers that aren't light. When I first attempted to hang the light using the provided bracket I found that the ceiling fixture did not sit flush with the ceiling leaving an unsightly gap of nearly 1/8". The round canister is much larger than a standard round electrical box typically found in ceilings installations. The lamp comes with a round plate that matches well the various types of boxes out there. That plate is meant to mount to the electrical box. Attached to the plate is a long bracket with two tabs that align with two holes in the round canister. The holes in the canister and the holes in the tabs were not drilled in such a way to draw the canister close to the ceiling leaving the gap. I thought about caulking the gap, but instead I decided to invert the mounting bracket and space it in such a way to ensure that the canister sat flush with the ceiling - this takes a lot of careful measurement and a pain in the a**. I was fortunate in that I placed a large piece of wood in the ceiling between two joists anticipating the weight of a chandelier - glad I did because this lamp is far too heavy to hang from a typical electrical box alone. The instructions want you to mount the round plate to the electrical box and then drill two holes and use provided plastic anchors to additionally screw the bracket to the ceiling to take the load. I didn't use the anchors because I was able to screw the bracket directly into wood, but the anchors are essential if all you have is drywall. The whole mounting method could use improvement.As others have said, the LEDs in this lamp are super bright - it must be on a dimmer. Also, LEDs last a lot longer when not driven at full power, so dimmers are really essential. Matching LED devices to a proper dimmer can be a pain in the a**. The claim that this lamp works with a standard dimmer is wrong - it doesn't. I used a standard slide dimmer to see what would happen - flickering. Then I tried a Leviton silicon dimmer that I had lying around and it didn't work well with this lamp - it reduced the output and sent current to the lamp in the off position. I purchased one of the dimmers recommended in the instructions, a Lutron DVCL-153P. It worked well, but doesn't dim the lamp as much as I hoped. It's acceptable though and I'm living with it instead of playing the dimmer game any further.Overall, I'm very happy with the lamp and the quality. I knocked off a star because of the cumbersome mounting design and unclear directions about the dimmer. Instead of listing several dimmer types in the instructions, the seller should recommend specific dimmers tested to provide a full range of control while providing buyers with a few decor options.

I get the most compliments on these pendandants. They look amazing and are really bright. I’m not sure if they work with any dimmers. I tried Lutron cassette and they don’t work. It’s not important for me to dim them but it would be nice to add to the home automation to turn off. I’m not going to deduct for that as I haven’t looked at all the switch options.

Beautiful light fixture, exactly what we wanted. It’s bright, the color temperature although 3000K is still warm enough for us (would have preferred more natural 2700K)

It is a very stylish yet simple light. It was easy to intall. The only thing that stop me from giving it 5 stars is that the rod that screws together with the light does not line up exactly. If you pay attention you can tell it's slightly off. Despite that we still like the light.

Loooove it! Rarely find something modern and cute. Very bright! Make sure to put on a dimmer. We put over our kitchen sink -- every little bit of food is visible.
