Tanita Hd-314 Digital Weight Scales

Bought a healthometer from walmart years ago and that thing still works but 1 out of three measurements is out of whack completely so I was weighing myself 3 to 4 times and comparing that to the doctor/gym scales so I know it was accurate if I discarded the one bad measurement. But that was getting annoying. Researched what brand is actually recommended and it seems that Tanita and specially this model has been recommended for quite a while by folks in the nutrition world (doctors, nutritionists).I don’t care for fancy Bluetooth stuff or guestimates on body fat or any other crazy feature they are adding these days I just want a simple sturdy long lasting robust and “inexpensive” simple accurate scale. And this is just that. I compare it to my dr/gym scales and it is spot on every time. No variation if you measure multiple times.I am actually impressed specially since these days it’s so hard to find stuff that’s not throw away.I have only had it two months but I weight myself every day (losing weight now) and I really think it will go for a long time. It feels like it at least.

If you're looking for an accurate, attractive digital scale that doesn't break the bank, this is the product you're looking for. Sick of having two different scales in the house reading 5-7 lbs. (at best!) difference each time, we wanted a scale that was as accurate as possible for less than $40. I got my wish! Nothing fancy--no body fat readings (not that those are super accurate on scales) or multiple users, but this is accurate to +/- 0.2 lbs and seems to work just so when I measure my weight several times, turning it off in between readings.

I compared the readings from this new scale to two others that have been calibrated. It matched. The scale itself is lightweight though sturdy and appears simple and stylish. The button is quiet and no squeaks when it is stepped on.

My Tanita HD-314 is incredibly accurate based on a test where I weighed two 25 lb barbells. The scale displayed 25.0 lbs for one, 25.6 for the other, and 50.6 lbs combined. It showed my weight as144.0 lbs and after adding the two barbells it showed 194.6 lbs. That's amazing accuracy! However the platform needs to be bigger and flatter. People with large feet or who have difficulty balancing should avoid this product. Also the display would be easier to read if it were LED instead of LCD.

OH THANK GOODNESS! This scale actually workds and doesn't seem to have those annoying features in lesser brands (for example have you ever noticed how your scale weighs you at precisley the same weight for three weeks straight, many scales are programmed to do this with the weirdest reason that it is better accuracy... but that is ridiculous!). When you are in a weight loss program, and its important for you to really know your weight within a tenth of a pound, this scale actually will work and tell you reality. Don't settle for anything of lesser value!

Scale is very inaccurate. It can register 20 pounds low after being moved. Amazon will not take it back after 30 days and, while it is under warranty, mailing it back to Tanita for a warranty replacement costs almost as much as a new scale would cost!

Compré una hace 15 años. Nunca se ha descompuesto solo cambio las pilas. Es muy exacta. Necesité una parai consultorio y no dude en buscar una igual.

I had one of these for a very long time, at least 15 years I think. It finally gave up the ghost, and I got a newone. It works flawlessly and immediately. I am delighted!
