Q: are the controls re versable. I need to put them on the other side of the toilet, opposite to what is pictured.

Maybe try fitting it flipped to the other side and just use the controls upside down?

Q: Can this be fitted to the tap water feed? Mine is smaller than the toilet pipe

I would think so, or you could fit a flexible with different sized fittings to step up your inflow. Remember though that there is no mixer so it will have to be cold or hot feed. Good luck 😊
