I purchased this just over a year ago and am only writing a review now because I came back to order another after I misplaced the first one. I literally can’t live without it. The old style of cutters and strippers seem like torture devices compared to this thing. A true god send. It is adjustable for different gauges of wire but I really only need to adjust it when stripping small gauge (thicker) wire. It is super forgiving for tiny to household wire sizes. Cutter is super sharp and the whole process is as easy as one squeeze. The design really works well. No twisting or tugging or trying to get through the insulated layer. In one squeeze it grips, locks down on the wire and pulls back the insulation. I spent about one day after not being able to find it cursing and grumbling about the time is was taking (plus frustration) to strip using the old style of wire strippers. It was enough to send me back into my order history to order again. They were working as well as the day I got em’ so they a well built and for the price, I can’t live without them. My only complaint is that there is a very limited play in how and where it grips the wire so if you are rewiring something that is already installed, sometimes it can’t get the right angle to bite down. A very very minimal flaw that is basically insignificant in the face of the true awesomeness of this tool.

This cheap little wire stripper did a 10 times better job at stripping the wire in a clean manner than any other wire stripper that cost much more than this one and I’ve tried many different ones. This one wins from all angles cheap simple efficient and actually does the job right and very fast.

I have had a similar tool years ago. I did last for 30 years with occasional use. This tool is even better made and should be able to be used by my heirs after I'm gone.

Funciona bien, pero se "desajusta" recurrentemente. Es decir, debo ajustar el tornillo atravez del uso prolongado por qué se va haciendo cada vez menos eficiente el corte.Desconozco si así sucede con todas estas pinzas, pero en largas sesiones de trabajo es algo que he notado mucho.Dicho esto, la pinza es mucho más eficiente para mí trabajo que cualquier otro pela cable que he usado.

Product came on time and was as described. I used it yesterday after using the regular wire strippers and I must say that I’m glad that I added them to my assortment and sure that will do well.

The strippers are great. They pinch the insulation only and pull it off without nicking the wire. They are easy to use. No extra force necessary. I had a previous set from another maker that kept nicking the wire and so I returned it. These are a keeper. Now it would be better if the entire strippers were made of metal but some of the components are plastic. You could spend more money to get a more durable unit but for what I plan to use it for, these are just fine.

This was a lifesaver for my project. I had wired up an audio amp kit and it worked fine all soldered but I wanted flexibility to experiment with different components, which is a huge pain if all the wiring between the panel jacks, boards, switches, etc. in the chassis is soldered.So I wanted to cut all the wiring at midpoints and add inline lever connectors, allowing me to disconnect and reconnect panels and boards easily at any time. To do that I had cut the soldered wires and then strip the ends so I could attach lever connectors.Very difficult to strip small gauge wire in confined space, but this tool worked PERFECTLY. It may not last years, eventually the blades may dull I don't know, but it works great out of the box!

This wire stripper is a game changer. I just received it today. It will make my life so easy after buying numerous wire strippers that never worked.
