I travel a lot for work and you don't know what your luggage goes through before it reaches you at the carousel. Unfortunately, after three years one of my wheels fell off. I contacted Asurion and they sent me an Amazon gift card equal to what my luggage was priced when I bought it. The whole call took less than 10 minutes.

Was able to get my claim approved immediately with out having to send my defective rolling backpack back to Amazon. Approved an Amazon credit for the amount I paid for the backpack. But does not cover tax of the initial Assurion insurance purchase, which I found acceptable.
