This was fun to use. You have to be a real artist to mix and blend your own color match... it's harder than you think. The color dries down darker than the wet mix. With this kit I had everything I could ever need at a fair and reasonable price. I had about a 1.5 sq foot area of dog scratches on a leather chair. Luckily no tears. The original caramel colored "paint" was scratched or worn off showing a cream white leather underneath. It took about 3 thin layers to completely cover it; I have lots of paint left over. The consistency of this paint is excellent and ready to use. I did not mix it with water, nor would I recommend that. Earlier, I tried Fiebing's leather dye that I had on hand previously, and it did not work at all. You have to use a paint, and I highly recommend this kit.

Incredibly good product. Large tubes that will last. This isn’t paint and it’s not a dye, it’s almost a mix of the two. If you need an unusual color, the included chart helps and once you have mixed and tested a small area successfully, you can mix and complete the job. I used the included brush and in 30 minutes, had my shoes looking completely rejuvenated, appearing almost new again. I couldn’t possibly be any happier. 😊 Now I’m heading to my shoe closet to find the next pair needing some TLC.

Color mixing guide confusing. Couldn't even get it close. Probably going to just chuck this at some point.

I use this product to refresh vintage leather bags and it does a great job. It is easy to use and dries fast. It also looks good when polished up.
