Only have had these for a couple of months but i could tell the difference the old one's i had on my 02 silverado it was just the metal the rubber had broken off from so many years and when i would go over train tracks it would be bouncy and now it's not to bouncy like it was great product

04 k1500 found one of my old oem bump stops laying in the driveway so I got to looking and the other one was already gone too. Only the metal base brackets were left so when I ordered these replacements I squirted wd-40 on the old nuts 2 days in a row before the new ones arrived to help me loosen them up. Broke em loose with a open end wrench through the fender well and crawled underneath to install the new ones. Didn’t want to have to jack it up and remove the wheel and tires because there 20”x12” 35ers lol! Great value over oem/name brand and came with the gloves to do it and a sham rag to wipe my wheels off!! Win/win

direct replacement - time will tell how well it lasts;installation - I did it the lazy way, maneuvered my upper torso over the rear wheel (watch the head) and removed the nut with a box wrench, 1/4" at a time. the bracket prevented anything larger and the distance between the top of the bolt was too close to the frame, thus preventing using a socket driver.total installation time: about 20 mins total - not counting rest time.

I ordered these to replace the worn out rear jounce bumpers on my 2002 GMC 1500 2WD. Except for the color, they looked just like the originals, but a problem showed up during my attempt to install them. There is a metal tang on the top of each bumper that is to fit into a hole in the truck frame so the bumper will not rotate as you tighten the mounting nut from above. The tang on these was not properly positioned, so I had to use a punch and hammer to bend it about 1 mm toward the outside edge. It then fit into the hole properly, and I was able to tighten the mounting nuts. Not a horrible thing to have to do, but frustrating for the price paid.

Replacement for my lifted silverado. Just needed a 10x110 Allen bolt for the bump stop extension. Just hammered out the existing stud and was ready to install. Will fit a 2007-2013 1500 silverado.
