I have read many books on screenwriting, taken classes and listened to podcasts, but The Bring It On Book clearly explained concepts I was having a hard time grasping. Jessica details and explains everything it in an entertaining way. I also benefited from seeing her script, was a perfect example. She also explains outlining in a way I have never heard before but it makes perfect sense. If you are interested in writing I highly recommend The Bring It On Book!

It’s the best screenwriting book that I’ve read so far! Helpful, practical, and entertaining! There isn’t a book on Amazon that will make you a good screenwriter, but this book lays out the essential details of finding your voice and helping you start your screenplay. I can’t recommend it enough.

I received this as a gift because I want to write a screenplay and I couldn’t find a good screenwriting book. This is a great book 1. I finished it 2. It’s explains the process step-by-step. 3. Improving writing skills has never ruined anyone’s life last time I checked. Screen writing is about rich characters and capturing their voice which isn’t as easy as one would think. This book can help someone toe the finish line to finish that screenplay that they have in them!

Read it in one sitting, highlighting as I went. I left with a better understanding of the screenwriting process thanks to the examples, and a list of things to consider adding or changing in my screenplay.This book is entertaining and informative. I loved seeing how different the outline and first draft were versus the as shot script.Highly recommended for anyone interested in screenwriting.

I haven’t enjoyed most of the books I’ve read about screenwriting. This book from Jessica Bendinger was super fun, and filled with creative advice and encouragement. Highly recommend.
