Beethoven's 2nd

I like both Beethoven and Beethoven’s 2nd. Both serve their nostalgic purposes quite well. But if I had to pick one that I prefer just a little bit more, it would be the sequel. It’s not because it has a better story. Basically, it is the first movie, only with little Beethoven babies running around. The reason I prefer the second movie is because of a single scene. I’m sure all those who have seen Beethoven I and II will agree that the best scene in the whole saga is the one where Ryce is being assaulted by this jerk, and then Beethoven, who is tied to the house, pulls the balcony away from the building, causing the creep to go flying. Only in a Hollywood movie would that ever happen.Way to go, Beethoven! You’re my hero.

We let my 5.5 year old son watch Beethoven so naturally we had to watch the 2nd one. This one is just as cute and charming as the first one. Very wholesome and had no problem with my 5 year old watching. There is a scene with underage drinking but I still did not have a problem with him watching this scene.

I like this movie because it is family friendly I would recommend 6+ although I have a four-year-old niece who absolutely loves it she’s obsessed with Beethoven now so I would say go with based on your child’s needs on if they can watch it or not have a 13-year-old who is not quite interested in it don’t wanna be a spoiler alert but it’s funny catchy cute and thumbs up

I like the part where Beethoven saved Rice from that boy she thought was nice. Just shows you can't tell book by its cover.

A well loved movie by my kids & I. Been my favorite since I was a kid & solidified my dream of having a Saint Bernard.

So amazing! Love when Beethoven had a girlfriend and 4 adorable puppies! Plus I’m glad they brought everyone back from the first film! I wish I grew up watching it in theaters!

We rented this with a bunch a neighbor kids over for a fun movie night. It was great until I forgot about the scene at the party where Rice almost gets raped. That was fun to emergently fast forward and then try to explain. So just remember that our 90s shows aren't always so innocent- stay close.

No subtitles for the film. Disappointed considering that Fabulous released the original Beethoven WITH subtitles. For a new release there’s no excusing a lack of subs.
