Do they stretch large enough to fit around medium-sized boxes?** A: I just bought a new HP laptop computer. The box is 12" wide X 19" long, and 2 1/2" high. These rubber bands will fit around the box the wide way but not the long way. Adding two times the width plus two times the height, I would say a total of 29 or 30 inches would be close to the limit. **Q: Will fit a notebook journal and keep it closed tight?** A: I would assume you mean a standard size journal? These are pretty big rubber bands so I'd think they would. You might have to wrap them around the journal a couple of times to keep it closed tight. **Q: Are these size 33?** A: I am not familiar with that designation of 33. However, I did measure the actual length of the rubber bands in inches by placing one on a ruler. Pinching the band "closed" at each end (not stretching it), the band measures 6.5 inches. **Q: will they stretch to fit a 12" square trash can?** A: Oh definitely! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ such an inexpensive but EXCELLENT and helpful product. *by T***R on October 12, 2026* this sounds silly, but these oversize rubber bands are so useful, they help me in the kitchen, the pantry, the freezer, the office, the library, the gardening shed, everywhere. The 4 different colors allow for easy organization and customization. They stretch well and are surprisingly sturdy. I've used a few to wrap around bags in my freezer and the rubber is in intact. No breakage.
