Amazing!
This is an amazing product! I have two older male cats (both neutered) who have gotten progressively smellier as time goes on. Keeping the house smelling ok was a TRIAL. Also both my boys have different allergy issues so I was worried about trying something new. I tried multiple types of litters but nothing really took away the smell. But this helped SO much. Its heavy and super absorbant which honestly was exactly what I was looking for. I go through about the same amount as previous litter brands for MUCH less smell in my house. This hasn't caused an allergic reaction and does well to clump together and keep the smell somewhat contained. This is the only litter I use now.

Great Price And Great Quality
One of the best litters Iโve tried so far. Not too expensive and you get more pounds of litter than other brands that want you to pay $20 for only 12-14lbs. it has no odor. Most litters I use smell bad after only a week of scooping. Also this has low dust and I donโt have as much tracking like other litters. My cat loves it and itโs easy to scoop and clean. Also when I clean the entire litter box , the clumps donโt stick to the bottom as much. Would recommend !!

Top tier litter
I really like this litter. It had great clumping power and I didn't get any bad smells off of it. Some of the cheaper ones like tidy cats. Don't really hold in that strong cat. Urine smell after even a day of changing it

Worth it for us! Win!
I really think we have a winner with this one! I was using Dr. Elsey's for nearly a year but it seemed like it wasn't doing the job as it had in the beginning for me. Excuse me--for US. Kitty is a big boy with a big bladder and large sized poops. We have an XL box and even keeping that filled enough is hard with all the scooping needed. Since these litters are expensive--I want us BOTH to love the litter. Dr. Elsey's was breaking apart on the urine clumps and I couldn't scoop out the little bits. I was so frustrated with the stinky aroma all the time. I don't want all those un-scoopable bits hanging around in the box any more than kitty does. The litter wasn't doing a good job of drying the poo or covering the smells... I know Unscented is the safest for their kidneys--so I started looking for options. After about two hours of review reading on Amazon, I ordered Boxiecat. Right away kitty was into it and he'd spend a while checking it out. I mixed the old brand with this for a month but it was clear that kitty wanted this Boxiecat. He actually gets crazy into it and I practically have to lock the supply away from him. What I like best is the litter's clumping. It really does what that demo said: the urine will form a sort of ball shape with a flat top--IF you keep a high level of this litter in the box. When you have a giant cat peeing out a lot--you need a thick layer to hold all that fluid so it doesn't puddle at the box bottom. If the fool pees in that corner or up against the edge then you have to deal with some sludge on occasion. This litter is great at absorption though for my money and the poops that he actually covers do get dessicated. That means less stinky poo events. With Dr. Elsey's, he'd drive me out of the room with a stinker. Trust me, I appreciate being able to roll over and go to sleep and not have to get out of bed, throw open a window and leave the room until I could tolerate breathing in there, long enough to scoop--and then return to bed. Another bonus is the grains are a good size and he doesn't seem to get the litter stuck to his paws that often anymore. If your kitty has tufted paws--you know how hard that is. And fluffy paws means throwing litter around-- and when it does get outside the box--it's not usually as much as the old brand. It's slightly lighter weight for the equivalent also. I dunno if anyone else has this issue with this brand...Sometimes he gets the bucket that I store the litter in, moved a few feet away--trying like mad to get the bucket open and to get at the litter. He's big and very strong so even stacking heavy stuff on top of the bucket doesn't deter the efforts. You'd think it was a bucket of cat treats the way he goes after this litter. He's so happy! Totally worth it for that kinda kitty approval. He's 2 now and he's never liked any the others this much.

Yes and No
It does a great job at clumping the pee probably the best I've seen. It coats the poop great too. One huge issue and why I wouldn't purchase again is the amount of mess it makes. I think because the texture is finer and smaller than other cat litters I've tried that it makes it easy to get stuck in between the kitties toe beans and track it all over the place. I imagine this texture and stuff is how it is able to clump so well. So if you are okay with a bit of a mess to clean up everyday than this product is for you. Also the odor is pretty much gone with this litter and that's a big plus.

Best for low dust - JUST DO IT!!!!
I have a cat who used to come out of the litter box looking like he rolled in the snow, covered to his elbows in dust and top of his head and face covered in dust looking like he roughed a tough winter storm not to mention leaving a trail of litter all across all floors. That was while using WBCL. But this stuff is AMAZING. He actually comes out clean and the tracking was cut down by 95% ....literally!!!! It does not smell as good as WBCL, but I will still use it just because of the reductions of dust and litter. Some have also said that the clumping is not so great on Boxie, however, I find that if you do not pick it up right after they go and give it a couple hours to set, it gives good solid clumps. So all in all.. I'd say this is the best for minimal tracking which is also great for better breathing. OH... and the dust that used to track through the house with WBCL left me dusting furniture every couple of days, this no longer happens with Boxie.. I can now do a thorough dusting once a week

Success in finding fragrance-free, dust-free clumping litter!
I've been searching for a replacement for my old standby Arm & Hammer unscented multi-cat scoopable litter, which recently has become unbearably dusty. It seems our entire household is sensitive to dust from cat litter, not surprisingly the cats themselves. My goal was to find hypoallergenic fragrance-free, dust-free clumping litter. We have five cats with eight litter boxes for them to choose from. I scoop the boxes daily and completely change out the litter once a month. Here are six results in order of my preference, the first two coming in at a virtual tie! Notes: My cats use the first three brands relatively equally (Catโs Pride, Boxiecat, Precious Cat). The first five brands clump well without crumbling, but I canโt vouch for the clumping quality of Fresh Step since our cats didnโt even get a chance to try it. Odor control was not a deciding factor for me in these selections. Cat's Pride Fresh & Light Premium Clumping Fragrance Free 5 stars No fragrance, no dust, just right. Success! Fine texture. Advantage over others: exceptionally light weight, multi-color granules that make even the tiniest clumps of urine or fecal matter easy to detect and remove. The unique warm gray granule color is somehow extra appealing and clean looking to me. Featured on an episode of Must Love Cats. Definitely plan to buy again. (Note: I did not purchase this item on Amazon due to the high price here as of Jan. 2014.) Boxiecat Premium Clumping Clay Cat Litter 5 stars Fragrance free, 99.999% dust free, very easy cleanup. Success! I noticed only a minuscule amount of dust in sunlight when removing clumps, but it wasnโt enough to trigger any allergic reaction. Fine texture. Advantage over others: clumps appear near the surface for relatively easy cleanup. Clumps do not end up stuck to the inside bottom of the litter box as in other clumping litters, which often require scraping and extra cleanup efforts. Cat Fancy Editor's Choice 2012 for Best Cat Product of the Year. Definitely plan to buy again. Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat Ultra Premium Clumping Cat Litter 4 stars Fragrance free, at least 99.9% dust free as claimed. My cats like it, but my personal preference is the finer texture of both Cat's Pride Fresh&Light and Boxiecat. And unlike the superior Boxiecat, clumps for Precious Cat often get stuck to the inside bottom surface of the litter box, even with the recommended three-inch depth. Still, this is a definite improvement over Arm & Hammer, not enough dust to trigger allergies, and I would consider buying it again if I hadn't already discovered Catโs Pride and Boxiecat. Purina Tidy Cats Instant Action 3 stars Slight fragrance and zero dust, but only one of my five cats chooses to use it. My oldest cat is the only one who will use Tidy Cats, which works out well since he doesnโt like sharing his litter box. The unique granules are large, smooth and rounded, so perhaps he likes the feel of this litter on his paws. Fortunately it is dust free and the fragrance is mild and pleasant, so I will continue to buy this brand to keep him happy. Ever Clean Extra Strength Cat Litter with Carbon Plus, Unscented 1 star Dusty enough to trigger sneezing when I scoop out the clumps; emits a subtle but sharp fragrance that causes a burning sensation in my nasal passages. The cats don't seem to mind using it, but I don't feel good about them breathing in the dust and the sharp odor and will not be buying it again. Fresh Step Premium Scoopable Unscented Clumping Cat Litter Multiple Cat Strength 0 stars Extremely dusty, strong odor, triggers allergies. Cats didnโt get a chance to try it. This one turned out to be so dusty and emitted such a strong odor throughout the house, we had to remove the opened box from the house immediately. Triggered allergies for both my husband and me โ coughing, headaches, burning sensation in eyes and nasal passages, sneezing. Definitely will not buy again.

Great litter except not loving the odor control AFTER THE SECOND HALF OF THE MONTH
Love the clumping technology of this litter. It doesnโt leave wet areas that the scooper canโt pick up. So the litter stays clean and thereโs much less tracking out of the box which I LOVE since my cat sleeps with me. So thatโs 2 problems solved. And thereโs virtually ZERO dust. The only reason I didnโt give it 5 stars is because their claim about odor control doesnโt quite match up with my experience so far. Itโs pretty good but not as good as they claim. If you get really close to the box I can smell it but only slightly. But I do have a very Heightened sense of smell, better than most people. My friend stood by it and said she couldnโt smell anything so maybe itโs just me and when I did it I had just clean the cat box so maybe I was still smelling that but all in all itโs an awesome cat litter and itโs better than anything I have ever tried. I will continue to buy it. Ok now itโs been 13 days still LOVING the clumping and everything Iโve already said itโs all still amazing no tracking, or dust, ez to scoop, etc. BUT Iโm sad to say the odor control isnโt there๐คจ. I truly wish it was. I thought Iโd found the perfect product! If they could get that perfected, it would be a 5+ stars so Iโm taking stars away. So it starts with 4 stars for the first 13 days but after that itโs a 2-3 stars because the odor control just isnโt there! And that in this small room is NOT there!

LIFE ALTERING LITTER
We used to use Purina's tidy cats lightweight litter until the odour started seeping through the walls. Ultimately, we changed the litter box and moved it next to the washroom on the main floor. Odour got worse, even with regular deep cleaning of the litter box. Cleaning it would trigger coughing fits for me (I have allergic asthma) and I always had to hold my breath when using the washroom or cleaning his litter. Even adding more litter to the box would make me gag because of how dusty it was. Bought this litter, and deep cleaned the entire box before trying it. Absolute magic. It's beyond my expectations. No more coughing fits, I can actually breathe while cleaning the litter box. I thought that it was basically impossible to avoid tracking, and litter sticking to my cat's paws. This litter not only eliminates every ounce of odour, but it also does not stick to my baby's paws and leaves no tracking. Very good price considering that it eliminates odours, tracking and is low dust. My new holy grail.

I LOVE this stuff!
This cat litter has been GREAT for us! We have 3 cats and this is the 1st litter I've found that actually does everything it promises to do. If I scoop it every day/every other day, it lasts a loooong time and that is very unusual with any litter we've tried, especially with having 3 of the little booger heads using it. ๐ ๐ป ๐โโฌ๏ธ ๐โโฌ๏ธ I've never seen cats actually REACT to a bag of cat litter before but our cats LOVE ๐ป this stuff! They all come running when I open the bag of litter and they wanna smell it and touch it before I pour it into their litter box, lol. One day right after I filled the litter box with fresh litter (before any of them used it), I found my cat on his hind legs, holding on to the litter box with one arm/paw and pushing around and playing with the litter with the other paw ๐พ. I don't know specifically what excites them about it, other than liking clean litter obviously, but they get excited, which they did NOT do with any other litter we've ever used. I also really love that even with the litter being UNSCENTED, I never smell that ammonia-pee smell in the mornings when I come out of my room, which tends to happen with other litters (even if they ARE "scented"), especially being in a smaller home or an apartment. We're in an apartment with 3 cats so it makes a HUGE difference! I highly recommend this stuff! It may SEEM to cost more than some other litters at first, but when you see how great it is and how long it lasts, you'll see that it's actually LESS expensive than other litters. And more than anything, my cats reactions to it EVERY time I open a bag of it... is almost the same as when I shake their little bags of treats, so that tells me I'm definitely using the right stuff. Can't hurt to try it... that's how I looked at it the 1st time I ordered it, bc that is the best way to find out... and now here I am telling everyone else that they should definitely at least TRY it.

NO
Not sure what's the rave about this litter. Tracing all over, sticks to paws like glue, if the cat steps on the wet patch. Ok, it clumps well and is economical but NO. Not worth the money
