Excellent book to get started with Safecracking!
This book tells you all you need to know to get started in a logical sequence and an easy to read style. I would STRONGLY recommend that you start with the additional resources listed in the back of the book, especially the piece by Matt Blaze. With a good understanding of how a safe lock works, this book takes you all the way through the manipulation process. Don't expect techniques that will get you into a safe in 30 seconds...this process takes time but if you follow the procedures that Jared outlines, you WILL learn to manipulate safe locks. For the money, you can't beat this book!

Good information, hardly revolutionary
Good information, hardly revolutionary. Nothing you can't find on the internet for free in a half an hour. This is an very accessible primer for lock manipulation, and can help you decide if you have an aptitude for it. This book will not help you "Open any door" as it is specifically geared toward opening financial systems dial locks. It is good for what it is, but don't expect to become james bond with this, it just isn't that in depth.

Thanks for a great introduction to manipulation of safes
Thanks for a great introduction to manipulation of safes. There are a lot of grammatical and spelling errors, however, do not let that detract from the excellent resource this is for the beginning safe manipulator! Very Good! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn about this subject!

Frustrated and Disappointed
This individual who wrote it is clearly very good at what they do, and know a lot, but it’s very poorly written. The author rambles occasionally, the photos are not always clearly showing what you’re supposed to look at, and I had hoped that this would be an intro to safe cracking in general, but the booklet only covers one type of safe. It was a hard read and I ended up unable to follow the vernacular of the author, and gave up on trying to understand what he was talking about.

Great book. No one in the family could find ...
Great book. No one in the family could find grandpas lagard combination. After about 2 weeks of trial and error we finally got the safe open thanks to the book. Great treasure inside?, well when opened it there were old candy bars, rock candy, a few stuffed animals and some Old Spice after shave!!

Don't waste your money
This book is not worth the money but should be in the .25 section at a used book store. When you get this book your first thought will be "is the package empty?" The "book" is .141 thousands of an inch thick. The images in the book were no doubt taken with an iPhone and are horrible quality. This more resembles a high school students science project.
