This is forever
The adhesive is no joke. When assembled correctly this will not budge, you might as well count your phone mount as a permanent fixture to your car. I had to cut the product to the proper size, which was easy enough. My car reaches triple digits during summer and the heat hasn't been a problem.

I live in Florida where the inside of the car gets very hot. The original adhesive for my GPS holder stopped working and I used this as a replacement. Works great so far.

Use two for windshield
I have a Vantrue Pro dashcam that is mounted on the windshield and wired through the car. After three months suddenly the suction cup wouldn’t hold anymore. I tried every trick, brought it to an installer who did everything they could think of and within 24 hours it would fall again. Following the instructions exactly, I applied one of these and pushed it hard against my windshield for three minutes. About 90 seconds after I let it go it fell again. I wondered if it would stick to itself better than leveraging the weight of the dashcam on one sticker, so I applied one sticker, red side to the glass, then stuck one sticker with the yellow side to the dashcam, and stuck them together, and the dashcam stayed stuck to the glass.One thing to think about though is the color of these stickers. They’re an unattractive greyish-beige and that’s visible looking in the windshield. I have to suck that up because my dashcam must be mounted where it is, but if you’re super uptight about your aesthetic, just know you’re going to see it from the outside of your car.

Pay attention to the size you need.
I didn't realize these were as big as they are. Totally my fault but I've found uses for them, I just had to order the correct size. Great sticking power for larger applications.

So far, so good.
I know that some had problem where there suction device to hold their camera has fall down. I installed first the 3M to the suction device and put a 20 lbs weight in it, so it can be flat. The day after, I installed it in the car without the camera, with masking tape to keep a pressure but didn’t turn it to put the suction ON. Today I installed the camera and turned the suction ON. We’ll see in a couple of months if it hold. The only thing that aboyés me is the colour. Grey doesn’t look good through the windshield. Looks cheap.

Good product, good price, as described.
I use these for mounting Ram phone mounts to the dash of my vehicles. I prefer these to windshield suction cups as they are lower profile and more reliable.

Sticks like a charm
I’ve installed the telephone holder in my car and it is standing tall. When I had the other adhesive, it didn’t seem very stable. Now it is not moving at all.

great idea, but probably the weather was too hot, almost 40 , it does not work any more after 2 weeks.

Excellent quality tape for Dash-cam
Product works as advertised. Used the tape to adhere dash-cam to windshield. Followed the instructions provided and now the dash-cam is stuck securely to my windshield.
