Honestly, these are the best fly masks. I have one that has lasted at least three seasons. I keep them on day and night during the summer. The velcro may become detached, but I just sew it back on. Highly recommend!

My cremello horse is on pasture and needs to have her eyes covered almost year 'round. I can't always get to her when it's raining or gloomy, so she essentially wears one 24/7. The Farnam masks are durable, but she can't always see very well through them, especially at night. The Duramask runs small and is hard for her to see through; it really rubbed her nose and jaws and she almost went through a fence wearing it, we think because she couldn't see it.This mask? Not a problem! I can see her beautiful blue eyes through it, so I know she can see out. Plus, it's longer length really protects her pink skin from sunburn. There's no edges to rub on her face or poll and it has two Velcro straps so I don't worry about it coming off. It has excellent protection from flies and mosquitos. It is a little more expensive than some other options, but it will see it's second season without a problem so no more buying one (or two if she loses one) every year (unless I lose it).Highly recommend!

My horses both love these masks! I think they find them easier to see through than the heavier weave that's usually white. This is a very fine black mesh, more like mosquito netting, but a bit more durable. No holes after 2 seasons! Tiny weave keeps out ALL the bugs. Mosquitos, gnats, etc. The reflective piece on the nose is nice, helps make them easy to find at night in the pasture. Nose is a little extra long, would be nice to keep sun off a blaze or stripe.

Fits great. I did cut off the extra velcro once I had it adjusted to my horse's head; this way it is less likely to get caught on something and come off. The horses don't seem to mind them unlike some others I've used in the past. The price on Amazon was much better compared to what I had paid in local feed stores or chain supply stores.

I have tried many a fly mask in my day and this one is the best. I live where it is very hot and humid in the summer. This is light weight enough for them to wear on 90 or 100+ degree days. As long as your horse doesn’t rub they will last

I’ve tried a variety of fly masks for my sensitive gelding, and this is my favorite so far. It stays on well, doesn’t rub, and has held up well. It also has just the right amount of coverage for him.

Like probably a lot of people, I have several different kinds of fly masks... trying them all out. The horse that wore this one, loves it! Puts it on nicely and doesn't want it off. I have another horse that always takes his off. So I bought another one of these.... here loves it, he doesn't try to take it off!!! I think it must be very comfortable plus they can see better with the fine mesh. Plus, I can see their face to make sure they're ok.The only thing that has happened to the older one is the reflective nose patch has come undone on top and bottom (still attached to sides and does not cause any issues)
