MasterClass Cast Aluminium Casserole Dish, Blue, 28cm/5Litre, Gift Boxed

Much bigger than I expected but I love it! Lightweight so easy to handle and clean, even in a sink that is barely larger than the pot. Very easy to keep clean, and I made pretty decent meals. Very easy to brown all sorts of foods but, yet nothing stuck to the bottom. Love the blue colour. Great value. I pretty much use it for all my cooking now. I haven’t use it in the oven yet

Love my MasterClass. It gets used at least once a week for a variety of one pot recipes I've been making over the months. One of my faves is a Chicken and Coconut Rice dish. It's really light compared to similar type dishes. The lid sits nice and I also bought the accessories (hand grips and lid top) to save burning my hands. Beware, without these rubber addons, the dish will get very hot during use. It takes longer than a conventional frying pan/dish to heat up, but once it does, I find it all cooks evenly and there's little to fault with the end product. Another major selling point for me, was the price. I consider it definite value for money and it has largely replaced other pans and dishes, freeing up lots of space in an already crowded cupboard. It can definitely act as a replacement for most of your frying pans, certainly the 24, 26 and 28cm sizes. It's a bit different to the rest of the colour scheme in my kitchen, however this does not create any issues and it stands out in that aspect. If it ever does get to breaking point, would buy another for sure.

Quality casserole dish that cooks evenly. The self basting lid helps keep food moist. Lightweight yet sturdy construction and easy to clean. Good size for family meals and goes in the oven nicely.

Possibly the best thing I have ever brought! Very light weight and looks great, and very good value. It works perfectly for so many things and so easy to use, but the non stick is un questioned, I mistakenly left my other half to watch over dinner while I popped out, I came back to him asleep on the sofa and the dinner completely ruined and just a block at the bottom of the pot, I stabbed a bit of meat with a fork and the whole thing came away as a solid lump leaving the pan completely empty! I am amazed and definitely recommend!

Lightweight but very sturdy. Great for casserole, curries, pasta dishes etc. havent had anything stick yet. Excellent for cooking and then taking to the table. Washes great aswell. Would definitely recommend.

Had been considering an ovenproof casserole which could be used on the hob for some time and this one came top on a review; I decided to give it a try although my experience of going with recommendations has resulted in good and bad outcomes. However I have not been in the least disappointed; it's such a useful pan. Although it is lightweight it feels incredibly strong as opposed to flimsy and poorly made. I use it on and in the Rayburn and on a gas hob and in a convection oven and it has performed well on and in them all. I allow it to heat gradually even when I want to cook on the top at quite a high temperature and because of the fabulous non-stick coating minimal fat is needed. I haven't put it in the dishwasher as it is rather large but I have found it so easy to clean it still looks like new. I had taken note of the description and also the reviews which said that the handles do get very hot and they do - only to be expected in the oven but also they do on the hob. However I think remembering to use decent oven gloves (although I have to say I did invest in the silicon grips but haven't used them as my gloves work well) is not much of a hardship considering how well I have found this pan performs.

Very good quality it disturb the heat evenly and the lid is helpfull it accumulate the nutrients vapor. The only thing is that the handels heat up

The pan works fine, however be aware that the handles appear to be made from the same metal as the pan and conduct significant heat, so you’ll need to use oven mits if you want to move the pan. This is a pretty big design flaw, I’ve never encountered this with a cooking pan before.
