I really like this scent a lot. I have the original, vanilla, and ylang ylang and I love them all. But the this and the original tiare get used the most. I really like this scent because it's easy to layer fragrance or I can just wear it alone. I love using this on my hair it's become so much stronger. It even seals my split ends till I can trim them. I have waist length hair and I use this as a pre wash and I use a little when my hairs really wet and run it through the ends. I do not use it on my scalp unless I'm doing a deep treatment. My hair feels and looks so much better. Also coconut oil can penetrate the hair follicles which is excellent as I love the results it gives me. I even use it in my boyfriends hair and it looks so soft, shiny, and a little thicker I think. As a body moisturizer I use it all the time and my skin is beyond normal soft. It's like a whole different world of soft. I don't mind the plastic but would prefer glass as Monoi ages better in glass. I'm thinking of switching my oil to glass bottles. I really recommend this oil. The scent is so yummy and tropical but subtle and a touch of sweet. Perfect, love!

I loved this product all natural and a great price and nice scent! For all those who say there is something black growing inside the bottle there isn't you need to run the bottle under hot water and take a look like I did, it's just a flower that they use to make the product that's how natural it is they leave pieces of the flowers inside the oil. See my photos. 1 photo was taken when it is white and thick and shows the oil before I ran it under hot water and yes it looks like something black is growing inside it but, I took the rest of photos after I ran my bottle under hot water and it revealed that what looked like something black growing inside the bottle was actually a dark purple flower inside the bottle complete with it's green stem. Coconut oil when not warmed to a certian tempature is a little more solid, again this validates how natural the product is, they use all natural coconut oil. For this reason I will definitely buy more and try a different scent as well.

Do yourself a favor and get this in addition to the original vanilla one. Smells AMAZING together and on its own. Consistency of coconut oil so if you live in colder climate like myself, I warm it under warm water or in my hands.

I received this product exactly how it was described. I like the fact that it even came in a plastic wrap to make sure there were not any leaks. I bought the vanilla scent too, and I must say I think I like the vanilla better. The plumeria smell was not spot on for me. I smelled other foliage, but not really plumeria. This product is usually a solid, so you might need to warm it under water to make it runnier.

Monoï is my latest beauty obsession and new favorite multitasker. I already tried the Sandalwood scent, LOVE it, and wrote a nerdy extensive review on it. So I'll keep this simple: Same awesome monoï, natural, wonderful moisturizer, soaks right in and good for your skin. I use it all over my body, and it doesn't break out my face--even good for sensitive & breakout-prone skin. I've had success using it as a weekly pre-treat deep conditioner for my hair; I don't need to use conditioner after shampoo and it makes my hair extra soft & shiny. My first and absolute favorite is sandalwood. I'm not usually a fan of floral fragrances but I really like the Plumeria variety. It is very delicate and subtle. It is not the kind of overwhelming scent that people smell when you walk into a room, but something noticeable in an intimate situation. It also has great staying power and I can smell it on my linens afterwards. Monoï newbies should know that authentic Monoï is made exclusively in Tahiti and the first ingredients listed must be coconut oil and tiare flowers. Also I shouldn't have to remind anyone that coconut oil solidifies under 68 degrees Fahrenheit and will return to liquid once warmed. (Was it here I saw somebody complaining that theirs "hardened into disgusting sludge" because they couldn't read a simple description?) It's really not complicated to use lol. Try it.

This is NOT plumeria! It's gardenia... and not even a pleasant smelling gardenia. It smells like old ladies or a dollar store perfume. I lived in Hawaii as a teenager and the women in my family quickly became plumeria scent addicts. I've quite the product whore and I was stoked to find something beneficial to my skin that had the smell I so loved... such a disappointment. The seller overtly lied in the product heading. Not having the option to return it really chaps my arse too. It's an intentional con to all buyers and I'm not sure how they've gotten away without so much as an item inquiry from Amazon. Excluding these gripes, I did enjoy the way it absorbed into my skin without the tacky after feel you get from most lotions and moisturizers... but since the rancid smell reminds my husband of his grandmother, I can only apply it before I bathe and climb in bed. It's a mood killer for sure. I notice most of the negative reviews indicate the solidifying as their 1-star justification, but as with most natural oils or things like raw honey (of which I'm also addicted), this is quickly and simply remedied by running tepid to hot water over the bottle. What cannot be remedied is my faith in this manufacturers product or customer service, my time or money being spent on something I couldn't, nor wouldn't, give away for free. If you're looking for something to hide the smell of grandma's decaying corpse, perhaps you'll find a use for this, if you're looking to add something different and nice to your beauty regimen, take a hard pass. I wish I had :(

The scent is my only issue. It’s not a bad floral but it just happens to be something that triggers migraines for me personally. Other people may love it. Giving the product 5 stars because the morning after applying this post-shower, my skin was CLEARLY very moisturized and soft. I may try another scent later but I will be passing the remaining bottle off to a friend for them to try.

Thats all I can say, the bottle was smaller than I expected but the contents have sort of separated, and partly cloudy. I wouldnt buy it again but the frangrance is lovely.
