I admit I was leery about the price but I'm so glad I took a chance as I wore it on a ski trip to Lutsen MN this week (anyone who knows the Midwest knows how cold it can be and the amount of snow we get is astronomical) and it was so warm! I was very pleasantly surprised. Day 2 of skiing it was single digit temps and about 30-35 mph winds on the ski hill and I stayed plenty warm, I actually was too warm and had to take a layer off and just have a t-shirt and long sleeve shirt under the jacket. The pockets are great, nice and deep so you can put a lot in them, I was able to put my phone, a trail, map, and gloves all in one pocket. I am very happy I decided to buy this and look forward to wearing it more. The sizing is right on too, I bought an XL so I could wear layers underneath and so far it has fit true to size. I am 5'4 and weigh 165#. Definitely a good buy! Highly recommend

I work for a tech company that specializes in software for the ski industry but am not personally a skier/snowboarder myself so when I found out last minute I was going on a client site visit that would include experiencing the client's offerings, I knew I needed to get some kind of ski appropriate jacket. This was the perfect solution as I didn't want to invest a ton of money. I was BLOWN AWAY by the quality of this coat compared to the money spent. This was a perfect last minute option. It fit great, had all the needed features for ski/snowboarding and kept me warm without making me so hot I wanted to melt.

For reference, I am 5'1, 153#, a size medium/large petite in conventional US clothing. I ordered a size L jacket so that I have room for a sweater inside. This jacket kept me sufficiently warm in such a way that most snowboarding days, I did not wear a sweater inside. The jacket is waterproof and has many pockets with an inner layer and buttons/fasteners to keep snow out when you fall. There are bungee straps on the side so you can tighten the bottom and bunch up as I did in the picture above. There is an open mesh pocket inside and I put the goggles and ski map there for easy access. Many side pockets and hidden pockets. My only complaint is sometimes the zipper got stuck.

I was looking for a jacket in which I could easily move, stay warm and look good for my first snowboarding lesson. I have to say it was great, I felt omfortable moving around and I looked great while learning to snowboard. I have wide back/shoulders, so using the size guide was of help in choosing the right size for me.

There’s so much good to say about this jacket; I wasn’t expecting much given that it’s from Amazon and under $100, but I took this out snowboarding 2 days after it arrived, and I’m so glad I bought it.First, the fit is perfect. I’m a M for most brands (my measurements are 5’5.5”, 150 lbs, 36B chest), and I purchase this jacket in M too.Second, it’s definitely warm. It was 25 degrees with 10-25 mph winds and sleet throughout the day. Only my face and hands were cold because I didn’t have proper snow gear for those parts of my body, but my body was completely fine. The only things I wore under this jacket were a t-shirt and a Patagonia sweater. I fell onto the slopes many times and not a single piece of snow got under my jacket.My boyfriend’s different snow jacket had flaps at bottom of his hood that kept hitting his face, and luckily this jacket does not do that.I suppose a possible con is that it doesn’t have armpit vents, but I personally didn’t need them.

Very nice coat! I really like all the pockets. Very warm and easy to move in when skiing. Lots of compliments. Great purchase and nice price!

Looks great, love the fit and can’t believe how warm it is!

Let me first say it is a warm jacket, worn in Cold northwest winters, I have stayed warm on cold days. However, the fabric is noisy and rough and just feels “cheap”. I haven’t tried it in wet weather but it doesn’t feel like it would repel water well.

I’m very happy with this purchase, although normally I like my ski wear a bit loose (about half size bigger) but I find it fits well even with a sweatshirt underneath, and surprisingly the hood covered my helmet. In terms of performance I haven’t tested it out yet but it is quite warm. I’d probably apply some DWR coating to optimize performance and make it last a bit longer.

Bought this for skiing and it was better than I expected for the price. Fits well for a medium, at first thought a bit big in the shoulders but its ok as room for movement. Lots of pockets inside and out, very warm and wind proof. It has a very high collar which can fit snug with a helmet on but keeps your face warm. Does not have a two way zipper which I prefer for sitting but does have great internal cuffs in the sleeves.
