ECLIPSE Kendall Modern Blackout Thermal Rod Pocket Window Curtain for Bedroom or Living Room (1 Panel), 42 X 84, Chocolate

The curtains are true in color as shown online. My photos have poor lighting, so don't go by the color in my pictures. The fabric is heavy, a good weight and a nice drape. The curtains weren't badly wrinkled out of the package but they do need to be ironed. I steamed on low heat. If you do want to alter/shorten the length when you take the original hem out the fabric is very forgiving, presses right out. I love working with this fabric. After ironing the packaging winkles out I had to gather the curtain up, climb the ladder and put the curtains on the rod. The curtains draped workout a single wrinkle. Awesome! I especially like the hanging options, that's pretty cool.The ceiling is 8' and the width of each window is 32". I wanted ceiling to floor, side to side coverage because the windows are air holes and outside air comes in from everywhere around the windows. The windows are on the cold north wall and west wall, so extra heat from the sun and extra cold from the north. I wanted the 52" x 95" to block as much air as possible. Since the unit includes two panels I may put the remaining panel behind the mirror or hang it on the other side of the bed to make it look like there is a window there. Undecided about that.I didn't hope for much regarding the city noise but with these curtains up I hardly hear anything at all. Impressive! The curtains give the room a pleasant soft sound, like when the doors are closed. Nice.I have another set of these curtains over the sliding glass doors and I have sheers with those curtains. They look rich and classic.You can certainly pay a lot more but these curtains have excellent workmanship, a luxurious fabric, a perfect drape and they block light and sound perfectly.I have put these curtains on the back of the house so I'm okay with the backside color. I have to get more curtains for the front of the house. I want a white backside because the front is street side, so maybe beige or maybe a second set to put behind the curtains. Whatever I decide, I'm staying with these curtains because there's no reason to get anything else. The price point and quality is hard to beat.

I got this to use as a heat barrier in a hallway, and it's working great for that. The temperature difference between one side of the curtain (running heat) and the other (no heat) is easily 10 degrees.It also does a very good job of blocking out light. I have a very bright hall light behind it and nothing gets through the the fabric, only around the edges.The height and width are as advertised, conveniently a perfect fit for my hall. The curtain is very light - the description says 1 pound, I'd guess closer to 2 pounds, very light either way. It's still heavy enough to hang down in the hall and not get blown around by movement a few feet away.The front (colored) fabric has a textured synthetic almost plasticky feel to it. The texture looks nice and it feels ok, it generally looks very similar to the picture in the product listing.The fabric is deeply creased, I'm not sure what it would take to get the creases out since the curtain is pretty stiff. If you want something that looks smooth like the product listing pictures, you should check out other reviews with suggestions on that front, but consider that not all the creases may not come out fully.I rated this 5 stars for my purposes but if I was worried about the creasing it might be different depending on how hard they were to get out.

As far as inexpensive blackout WHITE curtains go these are pretty great! They're not 100% light blocking but they get the job done, my husband must be part vampire and I'm more of a light and bright type so these are a happy medium 🥰 we previously had black blackout curtains and are currently doing some small renovations and redecorating and I couldn't stomach the total darkness anymore so I bought some beautiful linen curtains and white sheers and because they barely shielded our massive living room window from the very hot Oklahoma sun, it not only put a horrible glare on our TV but our window ac unit could not keep up with cooling our very small living room anymore and because I loved the look of the new curtains so much I devised a plan to keep them but had to figure out how to also stop the sun from beating through with such force It could potentially cause spontaneous combustion which is where these come in. I bought a tension rod measured the inside of the window and scoured Amazon for 2 straight days looking for something to fix the problem without taking away from the look of my very light new curtains and something as absolutely cheap, without being cheap, and these fit the bill!!! If you're looking for 100%blackout you'd probably get that with the black or another very dark color of these but I needed a light color and therefore knew it's next to impossible to achieve vampire mode without spending a small fortune. These are very light weight and thin but still do a pretty good job so I'm confident in recommending them. The pictures are at 7:30 am before the sun really starts beating down on our window and the light is off so in the first picture all curtains are closed, the second one is the blackout which are behind the curtains you see are open, and the 3rd is outer curtains open and 1 blackout closed and one open so you can seethe differences, and the dark strip across the top of the window is our feeble attempt at blocking the light without having to buy curtains so we bought window tint which definitely helps but it was not the darkness we needed in order to go window naked so we're currently in the process of trying to find a better quality tint that allows us to see out but nobody see in, however I will say that the tint coupled with these blackout curtains are a good combination, if you made it this far thank you for reading, I apologize for the lengthy review but I wanted to give you an idea of what to expect as I find it quite frustrating when people leave vague reviews like "it was okay" or "these are terrible" I read a lot of reviews because buying online is scary and I want to know why it was good or what was not so good so I do hope this review is helpful to someone 😀 also my window measurements INSIDE THE FRAME are 52 in length by 75 in wide and I got 2 of the 54 in long white panels which fit perfectlyAlso I purchased these in the lime green and they are a really fun bright green which gave me the pop of funky color I was looking for in my very black and drab bedroom

Advertencia: Estas cortinas NO son blackout. Regresé el producto porque pasa toda la luz durante el día y noche. Las cortinas son de un material muy delgado, no traen ningún tipo de recubrimiento que bloquee la luz natural o artificial. No las recomiendo para nada.

Compre 4 de estas para mi sala y cuarto. El producto viene completamente sellado y limpio, lo cual agradezco, lo unico que desmiento es la capacidad de "filtrat" luz, si se reduce en buena parte, pero aun asi se puede llegar a pasar mucha luz, en mi caso tengo a unos metros luces de pasillo y aunque no molesta, si deja pasar luz. Para mejor efecto, emplear junto una cortina gruesa de forma secundaria (y tambien ocupas un soporte doble como este: Decopolitan Urn Telescoping Double Drapery).

La verdad a cómo las vi esperaba menos o que se rompieran o que no sirvieran pero su bloqueo con la luz del sol es de un 93% súper efectivas me compre un par porque vi que primero si funcionaba como decimos en MEXICO la calamos primero y si funciona como era de esperarse, si buscan lavarlas a mano es mejor no recomiendo a Máquina y el color aguanta súper bien.Ahora bien viven en un área donde les pega el sol directamente funcionan perfecto depende el color que elijan, yo elegí este color porque cuando le da el sol de lleno se hacen color azul y se ve de poca mi habitación.

WAS ON THE HUNT FOR A PURPLE/LILAC/LAVENDER CURTAIN FOR MY BATHROOM AND CHOSE THIS OVER A ROYAL PURPLE ONE I HAD MY EYES ON.... NOT UNHAPPY WITH THE COLOR, BUT I AM UNHAPPY WITH THE FACT THAT THIS IS BASICALLY A PIECE OF MATERIAL WITH 2 HEMS (TOP HEM AND BOTTOM HEM ARE EXACTLY THE SAME SIZE) .. THE MATERIAL IS PRETTY STIFF AND DOESNT FALL NICELY IN MY OPINION.... YES, I CAN SEE THE PICTURE...YES, IT IS JUST A BASIC ROD POCKET PANEL (WHICH IS WHAT SWAYED ME IN THE DIRECTION OF THIS CURTAIN AS OPPOSED TO A GROMMET CURTAIN), YES ITS BLACKOUT...IM JUST NOT IMPRESSED WITH THIS AT ALL OTHER THAN THE COLOR...IT IS PRETTY MUCH DEAD ON TO THE PICTURE... BECAUSE I NEEDED A CURTAIN FOR MY BATHROOM, I WILL KEEP THIS FOR NOW AND TRY AND DECIDE ON A BETTER SOLUTION....IN MY OPINION, THIS DRAPE (YOU ONLY GET ONE) WOULD BE SUITED FOR A REC ROOM OR BASEMENT ....NOT IN MAIN LIVING AREAS....ITS JUST TOO STIFF AND DOESNT FALL NICELY...IT KIND OF FLARES OUT....JUST MY OPINION AS I MENTIONED...FOR THESE REASONS, I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS DRAPE

For starters, beware this is only a SINGLE curtain. Despite the deceptive picture showing two hung curtains. Nothing in the title to indicate a single curtain. It’s not until you read WAY down in the description does it mention single curtain. Shame on you. Secondly, this is NOT A BLACKOUT curtain. Not even close. It’s nearly transparent! Cheap material, and deceptively advertised. Stay away.
