this things makes ANY seat better. got for my PC and long gaming sessions. it will never wear out like ive seen in those pics. had it for weeks now with zero signs of wear. those are no doubt fact reviews to damage sales. Amazon is getting bad with that now a days. buy with confidence. this thing is super soft and squishy and mad my seat so much more comfy. its black on a black seat too so looks good, cant even notice it...till you sit then your like oh wow. it helps trust me. This cushion was perfect for adding a little extra softness to chairs and car seats following a medical issue for my spouse. It is significantly lighter than the Royal Purple cushion that we already have, which makes it easier to carry with you without sacrificing the needed extra cushioning.

I have used this cushion in my office chair at home because my chair doesn't have much cushion or give. The cushion definitely helps with some of the problems I was experiencing with discomfort in certain areas. However it is not the best, and could be designed better.The pros--My butt doesn't get too hot as this thing has decent airflow. The cover is breathable and the grid allows for breathing.-It does help with cushioning a little.-It has held up for the past year and looks and functions like newThe cons-I weigh 200lbs and its to thin to provide the support I really need. For shorter usages its fine, but after 8 hours in the chair, there are some hot spots.-It slides around on my seat. It has little grip beads in the material but they don't stop it from moving, so I have to adjust it several times a day to keep it in place.- It's too narrow for my body. another inch or two would be betterI will continue to use it for a few more months, but if I were to do it over again, I would spend a bit more and get a thicker, higher quality cushion.

My kayak has the MOST uncomfortable seat. It's supposed to be high-end. It's like sitting on a concrete block after an hour or two. The problem is that when I kayak, I'm paddling for 4-6 hours (at minimum). I take breaks, but each time I sit on the seat, the length of time my butt can handle it reduces. Enter, this gel seat cushion. I was initially concerned because it's 2" thick, but anything less wouldn't do much good. My concern was that it would raise me up too high and throw my center of gravity off. I'm happy to report this is not the case. I can now paddle for 2 hours before taking a break (sometimes longer). My only complaint with the gel cushion is that it is flimsy/floppy. Not the quality, but when I shift around, it tends to roll up or fold or bend easily. But if it were any firmer, then it might not be as comfortable...so, I'll take comfort and mild annoyance when I need to straighten it out vs. feeling like I'm sitting on cement.I also have an old "executive" office chair and the cushioning in the seat has long since given up supporting my tush. I don't really have the extra funds at the moment to buy another chair, so I use the gel cushion. No complaints at all. I work long hours at my computer, and the purple cushion makes it much more comfortable. I also used a memory foam butt cushion...but it just wasn't as comfortable. When I bought the purple cushion for my kayak, I decided to try it on the chair...and now it works double-duty.

Works great when you go to race tracks and the seats are metal.It makes it so much easier to sit there and be comfortable.You don't land up with a sword touch. Highly recommended for that.

Very comfortable and large enough to cover my firm chair - I'm just under 13 stone. The material used in this cushion looks to be solid and hardwearing and should not sag over time. Being a honeycomb structure, it should offer some ventilation compared to foam cushions, but bearing in mind it's sitting on a solid surface, I'm not sure how much airflow there can be. You can remove it from the bag. If you do that and are wearing shorts I could imagine the structure might get uncomfortable.
