I like this drone quite a bit - it's sturdy, attractive, light, small, and comes with an attractive case and three batteries. I love how the batteries snap onto the drone, and am really impressed that each battery actually has an IR detector built-in, to facilitate the drone's obstacle-avoidance mode, together with the IR detectors on the other three sides of the drone. The batteries charge quickly enough, and provide enough juice for a lengthy flight.This drone has some awesome features, but the execution of those features seems experimental at best. The "hands-free, throw the drone and watch it fly" mode is chaotic and crazy; in this mode, you're *supposed* to be able to control the drone by placing your hands to either of the drone's four sides. In reality, the drone flies around like crazy, and good luck catching it before it hits the ceiling (i.e. don't try this outside, as you may never see the drone again.) Also, good luck catching it at all to shut it down; it's pretty intimidating chasing four spinning blades that are bumbling around erratically. Thankfully, the cages around all sides of each blade make that task safe enough for an adult, but I wouldn't recommend letting younger children try it.In fact, even though the product listing of this drone suggests it safe enough for young children to fly, the box warns to not let children younger than 14 operate it. I definitely agree that novice drone pilots younger than age 10 should not operate this drone.As for "normal" navigation modes, they seem solid enough, with the exception that the drone sometimes gets tempted to execute its "flip in place" stunt without the user actually having pressed the button for that mode. Also, the "return to home" feature doesn't work as advertised at all - it just launches the drone backwards non-stop.The remote is very well designed, and the independent trim buttons make it easy to achieve stable flight and drift-free hovering. The speed control button is very nice - activating high speed will make you feel like a drone racer.

Pros - I really like the modular batteries, it is a well-built mini drone, strong propeller power, easy to learn how to use.Cons - throughout the flight, the mini drone needs constant "trimming" using buttons on the remote to keep the drone hovering within a three foot radius, this constant drifting was annoying. When I switched to headless mode, the mini drone lurched forward very quickly before I had time to get it under control. This happened three times in a row.

My kiddo loves this drone. She's 5. Heck I love this drone and I'm not 5. Fun for just flying around the house. Though it has prop gaurds, hair (and apparently a small peice of my muffin top) can still get caught in the props.I would highly recommend getting this drone.I will say, some IR frequently (signals from TV remotes) will interfere with the drone IF it's on and not paired to a receiver. FYI

So I'm wayyy too old for this. I bought it to screw around with and never really cared if it broke. I've ran it into walls crashed it you name it. It just keeps going.

The media could not be loaded.  Este artículo parece que es un artículo viejo, el cargador de las baterías no función párese no ser el adecuado porque no ajusta del todo y no muestra si están cargando la batería cuando se conectan, el control vino con un tornillo menos, los botones (F,R,B,L) no hacen ninguna función, me siento estafado, recibí este artículo ayer porque vivo en Republica Dominicana, era un regalo para mi hijo, el cual se emocionó muchísimo ya que le encantan los dones y era una promesa que le había hecho, pero el probre está muy decepcionado, solo me dices que lo devuelva para que me lo cambien por uno que si funcione, el tema es que me cuesta más devolverlo por la distancia que lo que vale el mismo artículo.Entiendo que este tipo de artículo sino funciona Amazon no debería permitir a tus vendedores comercializarlo o en otro orden los vendedores deben probar los artículos antes de enviarlo para que no envíen artículos defectuoso. Me da mucha pena ver a mi hijo desecionado después que estaba tan emocionada con su regalo.No escribo con la intención de dañar a nadie, solo estoy plantienado mi experiencia con este artículo.

Great little craft. Not absolutely top on controls and battery is fairly short but more than makes up for it in durability and having 3 batteries. I'm just learning and this thing is fun and (being so light) skill developing.

I dropped it in water it started to tweak out a little I let it dry up and its back to normal. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

My 9 year old son and I are now into drone fighting. How tough are the drones. Well my son ran his into my wife's hair. And my wife went full King Kong on my son's drone. She basically wadded up in a ball with her hand. With some strategic bending back I was able to get it flying again barely. Anyways keep it away from mom's hair and they should last awhile.
