Manual Coffee Grinder, Dual Bearing Expandable Whole Bean Wood Handy Size Juglans Nigra Stainless Steel Burr 30g by Driver, Portable Travel for French Press, Spice, Herb, Pepper Mill

After receipt of the grinder, I tested the grind range. It went from a fine almost powder to a semi-coarse grind. Static did cause some grinds to stick to the bottom of the burr, but a light tap or two on the counter dislodged it nicely into the bottom of the receptacle. I've looked at manual coffee grinders for a long time including some quite expensive ones for which I did not want to pay the price for periodic use. As the quality seems very good, I suspect I will continue to be happy with the purchase. This is a nice grinder at a great price.

Easy use

EDIT: the third picture plastic piece broke and is now non operable. The instructions are in some Asian language that I don’t know. If you don’t pay attention to how the parts are placed, good luck getting it back together. I am stuck and don’t know how to fix it.couldn’t help but update since that other guy doesn’t know how to use the grinder and complained of a drawback holding it while operating. Mines good, yours probably will be too. I find to go for a French press that I have it at the lowest setting and that two and a half the capacity of the grinder will make enough for a standard two cup French press. You may want to run it through again to make it a little less coarse.It may seem sketchy, but I bit the bullet and bought it. Build quality is amazing. Real wood, real steel conical burr, nice case, and collapsible. The issue is they don’t have detailed instructions with English, only Chinese. Besides that, this is a steal of a deal! I’ve been wanting to get a unique manual coffee grinder for some time. I’m glad I didn’t settle for other styles you normally see on here.

Great materials but this does not grind fine enough for espresso. It also produces a massive amount of static compared to my other grinders.

I give this a 1 star mostly because the bottom refuses to stay on at all. Idk if the plastic on mine was warped but its a big deal when that is what is advertised

A bit overpriced, works good

If you look at the pictures provided by the vendor, notice the hand position for holding the base. I have large hands and I make bread on a regular basis so they are not weak and still I found it difficult and painful to steady the grinder while I cranked. Even grabbing it by the neck was because your hand still spreads out across the glass base. Very poorly designed.

これまでセラミック刃のハンドミルを使ってましたが、壊れたの機にステンレス刃にしました。同じ細かさに設定できてませんが、セラミックと比べカットした感じがみられます。浅煎りの豆もハンドルを回しはじめたときは少し引っ掛かりますが、その後はセラミックに比べ回しやすいです。細かさの目盛りもあるので調節しやすいのもいいです！けっこう曖昧になりやすいので。軽くはないので携帯性はやや劣りますが、ケースも付いてるので、移動が少なかったりオートキャンプなら気にはなりません。ケースがしっかりしていてうれしいです。2024/9/1追記少し前から調子悪いかな？と思ってましたが、細かさを調整する部分が壊れ、調整がうまく出来なくなりました。約3年半使ったので、不満はありません。

1回で30g挽けること。軸のブレが少ないこと。外側から粒度調整が簡単に出来ること。出来れば1万円以内で購入出来ること。この4点で探した結果たどり着きました。基本的に自分1人分を挽く時専用機です。(通常20g～24gを1回に挽きます)バラしてないので構造的な話は、サイトの説明と使った感じからの感想、味に関してはミルの違いで明確にわかるほどドリップ技術が安定していないので割愛します。今まで使っていたHARIOのセラミックミル2機種と比較して、明らかに軸のブレは少なく、粒度は安定するようです。手で触ってみてもガタガタブレる感じはありません。ベアリング2個入ってるのは伊達じゃないと言う感じでしょう。挽き心地も軽く、セラミック刃と比較して「切ってる感じ」はあります。挽いていて疲れるということも感じません。水出し、プレス、ペーパードリップ、金属フィルタードリップを気分で使い分けるので、粒度調整がお手軽なのはかなりポイント高いです。子供たち用にドリップ、自分用にプレスなんて時にも対応しやすいです。質問欄のご意見にもありましたが、上部筐体の素材が思ったよりも軟質なものだったので、繰り返し伸縮を繰り返すと耐久性については怪しい感じです。また、下部の粉受け部分の脱着にも、少々気を使います。もう少し硬めの素材だと色々安心出来ました。僕は伸ばしっぱなし固定になると思うので、不安は半減しますが、持ち歩き用に考えてる方は、使用頻度と相談した方がいいかもしれません。タイムモアのミルも検討しましたが、同価格帯のC2だと、粒度調整が外側から出来ないことと、いちどに挽ける量が足りなそうなのでこちらを選択。今のところ満足出来ている感じです。誰にでも勧められる物ではない感じですが、僕と同じような感覚で使える、あるいは目的が似ているなら選択肢に入れても良いのではないでしょうか。追記です。商品説明ではコーヒー30gまで挽ける感じですが、24gですり切りいっぱいになりました。豆は中深煎りのモカでした。非常によく似た商品がキャプテンスタッグから出ていました。そちらは26gと説明があったので、それが正解かと思います。僕は24gまでがメインで、それ以上の時は別ミルなので、あまり影響ありませんが、30g近く挽く方はご注意ください。挽き目写真追加しときます。13まである目盛りの9です。挽き心地はかるく、時間もかかりませんでした。

残念ながら底が割れていました。木製の為自然に入った割れに思われます、それ以外は良かっただけに残念です。携帯性は良く持ちやすさは男性なら問題無いと思います、豆のひき心地はスムーズで良いです。

軽くて携帯性が有り少ない力でコーヒー豆を挽けました。中央部分とハンドルの穴の形が違うので、不良品かと問い合わせしました。絶妙な緩みは快適に使う為にワザと作ってあるそうです。粉の粒は綺麗です。挽き終わりが来るとスーッとハンドルに抵抗が無くなり分かります。コーヒー豆は溢さず入り、プラスチック蓋は吸い付くようにピタッと閉まりました。1日2、3回、使用しておりますが、電動に比べ音は静かでコーヒーのアロマも楽しみながら簡単に豆を挽く事が出来ます。ありがとうございました。

使う時に伸ばし、且つ木製の温もりがあったのは、アマゾンではこれだけでした。ケースも押し潰されない型で、かなり頑丈です。気になった事は一点だけ。ミルした後の粉が、木の受け側の容器壁に付着し、サラサラと粉が落ちない。中のヤスリがけがイマイチなのと、多分静電気で吸い付くのだと憶測してますが、ここはかなり不満です。後は小さくなって、バックパックにも持ってける良いお供ではないでしょうか？因みに自分はしまう時に輪ゴムを使ってハンドルを動かないように固定します。
