They seem to be ok. I have an older one I have kept in my fishing kit. These are not as heavy as it is but I'm using this one for hand washing in kitchen. So it won't be subjected to any extreme conditions.

Looks like stainless steel soap, but are made of light aluminum and NOT stainless steel. They are not even magnetic, and also easy to dent. If you're after imitation stainless steel soap, you can't go wrong
