I have just bought this lamp to replace one that has served me for 15 years - lamp of almost identical style.However, the "GYDZ" model, in comparison, is of very low quality - thinwall cast aluminum and very thin paint coat. Evident "cutting corners" to save some money. The material on the old lamp was much more solid. It still corroded but it took it a long time. Designs built for outside need to take into account such harsh outdoor conditions.Unfortunately, in the era of on-line shopping, you never know what you get, and then who has time to keep returning the merchandise, ordering and returning, and so on, until something of quality shows up.This lamp is higely overpriced, considering how poorly/cheaply has been made. Definitely not designed/built for outdoors. My advice - don't buy it. Or buy something 50% cheaper and replace in a couple of years.

These were a lot smaller than i thought. They look decent but take note of the size before you buy.

i liked the lamps but they are too small for where i need them. i will move these to around the pool and try to find bigger ones

Poorly made and has openings that will let insects inside the light. I corrected this issue with some some insulating material
