Buyer beware - lots of steep lines
While the guidebook itself is informative and well-researched, the majority of these routes are really only suitable for a small subset of backcountry skiers/snowboarders, and indeed many involve climbing skills. A good indication of this are the recommendations on the back by Dawson and Davenport, who are in the absolute elite of backcountry skiing. Few skiers come close to these guys' expertise. So, I'd suggest that any potential buyers carefully review the routes represented. Dreaming and getting stoked is fine, but the reality of Colorado backcountry skiing is that it is typically quite risky. Additionally, this and "Classic Colorado Ski Descents" focus on spring skiing, due to access issues and snow stability. Maybe I've been unlucky, but the majority of my ski trips in the Colorado spring (as opposed to mid-winter, with fine powder) have been marred by horrendous snow conditions. I'll keep trying, but I have yet to experience the fine corn snow represented in these guidebooks. Maybe I just need to get out more. . .

Best Colorado Climbing and Skiing Guide
This book is the best guide to Colorado backcountry adventure out there. These two mountaineers have given those excited about climbing and skiing mountains the best paths to do it, along with special features of each mountain and dining and recreation in the respective mountain towns.

An excellent addition to your guidebook collection
I should probably rate this only one star because I'm now worried that I'll see a lot more people on some formerly-vacant peaks and couloirs. This book covers some of my favorite lines in the state and has introduced me to several that hadn't yet made my radar. If you are a ski mountaineer in Colorado then you should probably pick it up.

Fills a void
As far as I know, there's no recent guidebook quite like this one - generally covering backcountry skiing in the mountains of Colorado. Lou Dawson wrote a Colorado book back around 2000, but this book brings the genre up to date. The camping and restaurant reviews are welcome, too. Good job!

Amazing. I only wish it was 200 routes instead of 50 haha, incredible book with vast options and a nice spread of difficulty. Good for the intermediate to expert.
