bareMinerals Oil Obsessed Total Cleansing Oil, 6 Ounce

I have been using Cleansing Oils since the 1980’s when people thought cleaning your face with oil was insane! Lol. Now, everyone asks me why I look 15 years younger than my age constantly. I love every minute of it. Part of it is taking good care of my skin since age 13 and reading every book I could get my hands on and trying everything out there. People need to stop stripping the healthy lipids from their skin. I am 55 now and had profusely oily skin until my late 30’s and even then, I used a Japanese cleansing oil I paid a lot of money for. That oil is no longer readily available in the US and I tired of paying so much for cleanser that rinses away quickly. I have tried about 10 different brands of Cleansing Oil, possibly even 15 in my quest to find the best oil that removes makeup thoroughly, but leaves my skin feeling soft but not dried out. I have used crazy expensive ones and cheap ones. So I am thrilled to be able to help people out by saying I think this brand performs as well as my old $90 cleansing oil! Thank you, JESUS! Or more possibly accurate, Bare Essentials brand. This cleansing oil is the bomb, people! Neutral scent, nothing bad or overly fragranced. Not too thick, not so thin that it drips down your face upon application. Like Goldilocks said, “Just right”. Emulsifies when you add water and even hard to remove mascaras or waterproof eyeliners dissolve nicely. Rinses with no residue but leaves mother nature’s natural moisture in your skin intact. Just awesome.

This oil is fantastic. I got this cleansing oil because despite being acne prone, my skin gets very dry and develops dry patches even with hydrating cleansers. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and some of them stated that it helps with breakouts - I was doubtful but after three weeks of use I can confirm that this is true for my combination acne prone skin. This cleansing oil leaves my skin hydrated, firm, clean, and very happy.USE - The oil is very liquidy and spreads super easy. I use it to cleanse and massage my skin. I also rub my eyes with it, it causes no irritation for me. It washes with water and leaves no oily residue, which is one of my favorite things about it. For me, it does not remove eye makeup very well and I need to use cotton pads and micellar water to follow up. I use only about a pump and a half because it goes so QUICK; I am aware you are supposed to use three to four pumps.SCENT - I absolutely LOVE the scent. It smells like lavender and reminds me of a spa. I know this sounds crazy but I look forward to using the oil everyday because of the scent (the scent is quite strong - if you do not like heavily scented products, you might find it off-putting).I think this oil is worth every penny. I am very happy I gave it a try and I will continue to use it.

I remember my first time trying a cleansing oil. My friend from Korea had my join her in her entire skincare routine but I was most impressed by this oil she had me try. It was one of the Shu Uemura cleansing oils. She had me use two pumps and rub it all over my face for a few minutes. It felt like a scrub only to find out that the cleansing oil loosened up my blackheads. (I know... gross but wow, right?) Needless to say, I bought Shu Uemura's Anti/Oxi bottle for over $80.Fast forward to the bottom of that Shu Uemura bottle to the time when I started being more conscientious about the ingredients in my skincare. I spent a pretty penny on a small bottle of Tatcha's cleansing oil. I was a little saddened that it didn't have the same feel and effect as the Shu Uemura one that I tried. It was more viscus and was almost similar to castor oil. I took a break from cleansing oils for a while until...I found out that BareMinerals came out with a cleansing oil. Let's just say that this is my second time purchasing this particular one by BareMinerals. My first bottle lasted me about ten months of semi-regular use. I use cleansing oil when I need to remove stubborn makeup or to remedy dull skin. I would say that this one is similar to Shu Uemura's Anti/Oxi terms of viscosity and effects. BareMinerals manages to walk the line between clean and effective products.

This was a game-changer for me. I had been dealing with hormonal adult acne that just wouldnt quit... deep painful breakouts all over my jawline, scaly dry skin and blackheads all around my chin, cheekbones, and forehead. The only way to hide it was with concealer, which clogged my pores and looked terrible on dry skin. All the cleansers I tried dried out my face even more, but other home-remedies (oils and makeup removers) left my pores even more clogged.THEN I tried the bareMinerals oil based on other customer reviews, and my face is so happy! It really does remove makeup and other grime very well, and it doesn't leave anything behind or dry out your skin. At night, I massage 2-3 pumps of oil on a dry face, then wet my fingers & massage again to make it foam up, then rinse...I usually use one more pump to get anything that might not have washed away the first time. In the mornings, i only use 1 pump on a dry face in the shower, then rinse & massage it away. Not only is my skin tone more even (no dry or oily patches, just a nice healthy glow), but my acne (even the deep hormonal bits around my jawline) cleared up, and the dark spots from old breakouts faded. After 2 weeks, my skin looks like it's been clear for months.The one negative is that it's expensive- but using only 4 pumps a day, you can make it last for a long time. I'm a huge fan.

This product is now one of my favourites. A lovely cleansing oil that smells like heaven. It makes washing your face feel like you're in a spa! You don't need a lot, so I'm sure it will last a long time.Delivery was speedy and I am quite satisfied.

The only make up remover i use. Lasts forever. Been using it for 18 months and this is the 3rd bottle ive bought. Leaves skin feeling very clean and soft and takes mascara off so easily without damaging the eye lashes.

The only face wash I use. I’ve suffered from dry skin and cystic acne for the past couple years and this is the only face wash to have stopped that. Finally feel happy with how my skin looks and feels.

Love this facial oil always removes all makeup and leaves skin feeling fresh .
