Quality
I rarely ever do reviews but.. I will never change another motor without a jack plate. TH Marine did a very good job on this, quality plate and quality hardware. The plate is incredibly well built and looks like it will last for a long time

Worked great on my boat. I did have it professionally installed due to the weight of the motor.

Missing Parts
I received my Jack Plate today and opened the package to find that the outboard motor mounting hardware was missing the 4 nuts required to mount the motor to the jack plate. At this point the unit is useless until I go and see if I can find some hardened grade 8 nuts to use. Quality control when packing seems to be lacking. The unit is built well but I gave it two stars because of the missing hardware.

Jackplate
Very nicely made Jackplate. Hung a 150 Vmax on the back of it. Perfect fit, very nice finish. Also have 2 fishing buddies with the same Jackplate and also have had no problem with them.Update: over two years now and it still looks new. It's Only been used in saltwater and have had zero issues.

Curious as to why
Received this unit today , looks strong but is not predrilled for older 2 stroke motors and to drill new bottom wholes to close to other predrilled holes , a newer 4 stroke will bolt on no problem

Don't use this supplier
Nothing wrong with the product and I received it in good time but realised that it wasn't suitable for my engine setup. Thus returned and received notification that it had been received by supplier on 2nd September 2021. Have heard nothing since and I'm £300+ down. Awful customer experience and Amazon need to step up to the plate and sort this out. I'm suspending all purchases to Amazon until they do.

Not for use if you are mounting shallow water anchors
There arent adequate details written for this product! I purchased the jackplate so that I could mount Minn Kota Talons on my boat but there are NO MOUNTING holes on the jackplate.
