We've wasted a small fortune on toys for our outdoor cat who chooses to spend the winter months indoors and is usually bored out of his mind. We have tried countless toys to relieve the boredom without any success. He's a very efficient, enthusiastic and successful mouser and it was quite literally love at the very first sight once he saw this toy with its moving mouse hidden under the cover. I purchased this a month ago and waited a month before reviewing just to make sure he loved it as much on day 30 as he did on day 1. And he does. He's a large cat and has treated this toy very badly, is very rough with it and drags it around the place but the toy is really sturdy and is in as good a condition as it was on the day he got it. Worth every penny as he's one very happy cat.

This is the third or fourth version of this toy that I’ve bought from Amazon. It’s the only toy that keeps my cats entertained consistently. However, all of the other ones broke within a few weeks and felt extremely flimsy to begin with. This one is made with cats in mind not just profits. The top sheet can actually be secured to the motor part finally!! This prevents it from coming off and the spinning part being exposed within a minute of play, I used to have to continually replace the sheet with the previous ones I bought. Not only that but batteries are included and the whole thing feels much more premium. MY CATS THANK YOU Edit: 2 months in and no sign of the toy slowing down. Sheet still securely attached and no problems with battery life. Very happy customers.

The toy is brilliant for playtime with adults and kittens, keeping them engaged the entire time every time. It does burn through batteries though, requiring 3 AA’s and draining them within a few days of use.

My 12 year old cat is obsessed with this. 3 times a day minimum squeaking for it to be turned on. The attachment without the feather fits best. You have to bend the attachment slightly back, for it to travel smoothly underneath. Initially, you have to keep reattaching the top. The fastest setting interests most. The noise is a bit irritating of the engine. However, the sheer pleasure he gets from it, counteracts that. Very entertaining to watch. Sticks his head and paws under it, jumps on it, drags it across the floor, running jumps at it and fast grabbing. But, continual obsessive use seems to settle the top staying clicked on. 10 to 30 minutes play each time. He is a large cat and fussy about toys. Worth the price as has been about 2 weeks since purchase and still very, very keen on it. Slightly frayed around top, but given so much rough play is ok. Well worth the purchase. Pleasure for him and entertainment watching him get cross with it and the rough and tumble. UK Company for postage, so safe toy and fast postage.

Got this for our cats at Xmas 25 and very disappointed with the item , our MC kitten worked out within the first day how to bite the rubber cover for the feather wand loose , item in not as good quality as others I’ve purchased before , won’t recommend to buy

Well, I bought this with some reservations, as one of my cats usually manages to destroy the toys within day or two, the one we had previously (different make) lasted 30 minutes before he broke the wand, it’s been over a month since I put it up and it’s still going strong! Really robust product, not so keen on the feather that goes around, but the tail that goes underneath the plastic top, fantastic! Both the cats have played with this item and he has really tried to destroy it, but no luck! The only downside is, is that it needs batteries rather than being able to recharge it, other than that, it is definitely worth buying! So glad I took a chance! Why did you choose this product over others?: One of the others, he had already broken, so no point in that and I was concerned with some of the covers coming off easily, knowing that both cats would have found it too irresistible to not stick their heads through the hole! Ease of assembly: No problem, also added bonus that I can buy replacements, should he manage to destroy one of the arms! Value for money: Definitely!

If you buy this in 2025 they have changed the design and it is not like in the videos. The skirt is oblong and so short now that it doesn't cover the thing that's supposed to be under it. Not like in the previous versions in which it appeared larger and round. The worst part is that the ring in the middle is no longer attached to the skirt with no way of securing it!! It is just loose and rotates constantly which kind of defeats the purpose!! Also the fabric in the skirt seems to be made of different plastic now which is much more rigid. So sad to see all the videos of an actually functioning toy which is not what we got. To our cat we got a weird oblong rotating plastic skirt... Really wish they wouldn't have skimped on the new design and we'd gotten the old one. Would not recommend buying in 2025, seems like they are cutting corners.

A bit expensive for what it is when you think guess what it cost to produce (polyester cloth, plastic casing, a motor, and a not overly complex electrical circuit). But similar products from other brands had poor ratings in comparison to this listing so I gave it a chance. The build quality (for the most part) seems good and my cat loves it. There is room for improvement though. 1) the cloth is plastic-y, which I do not love the feel of but my cat doesn't seem to mind the feel so I am not complaining about that. What is a bit annoying is that the plastic-y material is a bit noisy. I mostly bring this product out when I'm trying to work on my computer and my cat wants to come and step all over my keyboard so it's great for keeping him busy off of my keyboard but the sound can be a bit annoying. 2) it would be much better if there was some sort of springy plastic at the peripheral rim of the cloth to prevent it from folding in on itself (and causes the motor to be unable to push past the obstruction). By springy rim I mean like what is found in the rims of some collapsible laundry baskets. 3) at this price point I think some motion or perhaps a noise sensor to pause and resume the game isn't asking for too much. I'd actually pay a decent amount more if there was a feature like that built in so I don't have to worry about my cat being bored while I am at work. Other cat toys (like the electric balls that roll around) have this so I know it is not impossible. 4) this product is AA battery powered, which in my opinion is outdated (especially for this price). It is 2023 (nearly 2024), it should have USB C. Having said that, those are minor short-comings (except #4) and the product works well.

So I’ve bought them all. The ball, the feather, the mouse…. This is incredibly the only toy she likes to play with… and it’s been one week. She destroyed the feather thingy but the other one is super fun. I just turn on once or twice a day and it’s fun to watch 😂
